20211115 - Old Seats, New Seats

20211115 - Up in the am and L&G at school, J in bed and I got to the desk. I took care of the days task and all the new stuff, had to build a last minute app. J came down today and hung out on the couch. First time he's been down in days. I finished the day and went out to throw the ball with hazel a bit. L ran and got Panda Express for J, the first food he's asked for or eaten in days. L home and G&I headed downtown to watch the Buckeyes basketball game. We got there and found our seats at the top of the stadium. We headed down to get some snacks at halftime and then I walked right down to the floor and took a seat. I turned around and no G... I started eating my hotdog and got a text from him, he wasn't going to come down, afraid he'd get in trouble (just like his mom...). I sent him a pic of my view and told him to come down. G showed up and we watched the rest of the game. The Buckeyes won and we headed home. Home and and J still downstairs. G headed upstairs and LJ&I hung out and watched some TV.. L to bed, J to bed and I hung out and got some stuff done and watched a movie.

20211114 + Protector

20211114 + Up late and for a couple things done. L ran to pick G up and I got some things done in the garage. J up in his room still holding on to his fever. G came down and played outside with Hazel a bit and then helped me get the handpump out of the yard and TV off the back porch. After that it was sort of a lazy day. L cooked a chicken and I tried to get caught up on some paperwork. We watched football and then a couple movies and eventually everyone went to bed and I stayed up on med duty with J taking him pills every 3 hours until very late, so L could sleep.

20211113 - TPd

20211113 - Up in the am and at the desk all morning getting things done and organized for next week. J still up in his room with a high fever. G, Hazel and I ran some errands, dropped off the two very fashionable purses I ordered for her but she didn't like... We then swung through Jet's and picked up a pizza. We drove to the post office boxes and G had a hard time finding the door in the top to put the larger packages in... I then ran him to his friend's house so he could watch the game. Home and L&I watched the Buckeyes football game and then some more games. G home with Andrew and then L ran Andrew home. I then ran G to Trent's for the night. I stayed up watching football on med duty with J taking him pills every 3 hours until very late, so L could sleep.

20211112 - J Mono & Destroyer of Underpants

20211112 - Up in the am and L&G at school and J down in bed for day 2. I got around and to the desk and was tied up most of the day. J came down and made his way to the couch, pretty miserable. I finished the day and threw the ball to Hazel a couple of times but it was too cold to stay out long. I got around and ran to Arby's to pick us up some dinner. We watched a new movie 'Red Notice' while we ate. J not eating and still had a high temp, 103.  J wanted to go to the Dr. so L found him a place in Westerville that was still open and ran him to get a couple more test. They got home and the Dr. called with the results, Jack has Mono... A late night watching movies taking J meds every 3 hours.

20211111 + Play

20211111 + Up in the am and L&G at school and J home not feeling well with a high temp of 102. He was on the couch most of the day and wiped out. I took Hazel on a walk and then finished my day. L home and we ate and then L&I went to the high school to see a play that J's buddy Conor had one of the lead parts in. It was a cute little play and Conor did really good. We had a good time and then headed home to check on J. He is miserable so I ran to Kroger and got a bag full of stuff for his throat. Today is the anniversary of our accident and a day that I normally send out letters to folks letting them know I appreciate them. It is a lot of work and I just don't have the energy or emotional strength to do it this year.

20211110 - Paint and Paper

20211110 - Up in the am and L left early with Nicole to go visit Gma&paB and paint or put wallpaper up in their kitchen. G at school and J in bed not feeling well. I jumped on calls and started getting things done. J came down and headed to a Dr. appointment L set up for him and took some things to the post office for me. I took Hazel on a long walk. Home and J back from Dr. needs to go get a prescription, they're not sure what's wrong with him... J headed out to get his prescription. L,G&J home. J took his first round of meds and then headed out for a 'milkshake' I told it was not a good idea, that he was only feeling a bit better because he got some meds. Stupid me, what do I know. J got home about 11pm.

20211109 - Persuader

20211109 - Up in the am and LJ&G at school. I had a some calls and got some thing done in the am. Hazel and I took a walk and then I warmed up some pizza and ate with J as he watched some TV. Back in the office to finish off the day. L home and helped J with his sore throat. I threw the ball the Hazel and L cooked dinner. We all at the table and then the boys headed upstairs. Andy stopped over with a 30 pack of Natty to try and bribe me to become the Boosters President… we sat and chatted on the back porch for a couple hours. In and watched some TV with L before heading to bed. 

20211108 - Hours Reacting

20211108 - Up in the am and with a phone call that lasted way to long and headed the wrong direction for a Monday morning. Spent the next couple hours reacting… I headed out for a walk with Hazel and make some calls. Back to the desk and finished the day. Out of the office, grabbed a bourbon and threw the ball to Hazel a bit. L made dinner and we ate and then relaxed a bit and watch the movie Fitch.

20211107 - In the Bushes

20211107 - Up in the am and Hazel running crazy figure eights in the backyard. L trimmed up Hazel's toenails and no blood this time! I headed in to the office to get some things done and shipped. D stopped by to drop off a heater. I took Hazel out and threw the ball with her. Now that the leaves are falling we find Wiffle balls everywhere... L gave J&G haircuts, got ready for another busy week.

20211106 - Trim

20211106 - Up late and L at bfast with her girlfriends. I got up and to the pc and got some things done. G up and Hazel and I ran him to his baseball practice with his summer team. I swung by an auction house to pick some stuff up and then McD's on the way home. Home and L there and we started the OSU game from the beginning and had some lunch. We took a break to go pick G up and L and Hazel went so L would know where it was if she had to take him. Home and we started watching the OSU game again and G listed some things on ebay for me. We hung out watching college football and 2 of the things G listed SOLD FOR $400 EACH! I ran to Jet's and picked up a pizza and we hung out in front of the TV watching football until late.

20211105 - Fetch

20211105 - Up in the am and to the desk. I was very sore from my shots and felt a bit feverish all day. L got her COVID booster today. I got through work and threw the ball to Hazel a bit. L ran and got us some wings from Rusty Bucket. G got picked up by Trent and went to the GLHS home football game while L&I found it and watched on TV. They lost... G home, frozen and he told us all about the game. Up late doing crypto research.

20211104 - Two Shots

20211104 - Up in the am and to the desk. Lonie called and let me know he was going to get his COVID booster as a walk in. I thought he was crazy and that he would have to sign up. He called back after a bit and said it worked! So I got online and found a place close that had open appointments and headed to get my shot. While I was there I got both the COVID booster and my flu shot (OUCH). Home and ended the very busy day and it went fast. J got home and picked a fight with L, It was not a fun night.
