20240724 - Worked, mile walk, got G up, threw ball to Hazel, made G go to bingo with me for dinner, Dave & Kelly, their friend Deb and Vinne & Aaron joined us, won a couple times, G left, I stayed and played, walked home afterwards, sat on the porch and watched the news and threw ball to Hazel, headed in, G showed up with Caden, Darius, Jeremy & Trent to spend the night.

20210423 - Sitting Out

20210423 - Up in the am and to the desk. Got some stuff done and showed Cory some things. Ran to the high school to pick up some programs for the concession stand. Back to the desk for a couple meetings. G home and said he’s not playing tonight. He hurt his achilles/lower calf and the school trainer has him sitting until he gets reviewed on Friday… Headed to Kroger to get some supplies and then out to the baseball field to update the concession stand. Home, got L and we headed to Chillicothe to watch the game and provide internet and video. We got some Rax for dinner on the way down and just relaxed and watched the game. We won but barely... Long dark rainy drive home. Home and J had some buddies over. I stayed up and waited for G to get home. His leg still hurts him pretty bad. Stayed up late and watched the fest of Shogun.

20240416 + Relaxed & Pulled Pics

20240416 + Up and G home for lunch. I got some things done at the desk then ran to Benchmark Bank to close my safe deposit box. After that I headed to the high school to pick up some stuff from the concession stand. Home and took Hazel on a walk and then back tot he desk. Got a bunch done and L home and we headed to Westerville Central for a ball game. I ran in to the dugout as soon as we got there and got GameChanger set up and then got the camera up. I showed Shane Ewald how to run the video so I didn't have to :-) I hung out with L and Tom and sat back in the shade and just relaxed as G is not playing... After the game L&I headed to Wendell's Pub to try their French Onion soup (not good) and wings. G upset he's got the best stats on the team and not playing. Home and talked him off the ledge. Sat out on the back patio with L enjoying the evening. I got some news sent out for the baseball team and then headed in to work on the getting all the pics and videos pulled from L&I's phones. To bed late 2ish.

20200310 + NO TP

20200310 + Up a bit late and surprise I am in AFib. Got myself together and drove the back roads to the office. Got to the office and feeling much better. Put in a full day but exhausted. Headed out a bit late. Home and L made a good dinner and LG&I ate. After dinner L&I headed to Kroger where everyone in Gahanna was either there or had been there earlier in the day, this virus that is coming is freaking people out... NO TOILET PAPER! The store is also under construction so it is a mess and we couldn't find things. We went back and forth and and spent about 2 hours there and got 2 carts full of stuff. Home and J&G helped us unload. L&I put everything away and then sat down to watch the Bachelor. After the show we headed to bed and I worked till 3.

20200309 - Late Night

20200309 - Up in the am and in to the office. Had an extremely busy day. Got a lot done and things moving for the week. Headed home and made some calls to cancel baseball practice and  Bible Banger. Had dinner with L&G and J got home from his first day of Track practice. I headed in to the office and started working. L ran G to Practice and J headed up to his room. I got to a spot I didn't need multiple monitors so I jumped up, my heart went into AFib, I relaxed, it went back to normal, I watched some TV with L while I worked. Ran to pick G up and chatted with Tom a bit. G&I ran to Burger King to get milkshakes and a chat. I apologized for putting pressure on him in the past during baseball and let him know I don't care if he plays baseball or runs track or does nothing. If it gets to be too much just speak up and we'll take a break or change directions or whatever.  It doesn't mate what or how good he is at something, I just enjoy being with him. Home and watched some more TV with L and got stuff done. Everyone headed to bed and I headed in to the office and worked on my project until 3am.

20200212 - Drain Snaking

20200212 - Up in the am and in to work. Had a full house at the office and got a lot of things done with Lonie and Cory today. We took a break for lunch and to run to the Scout store. Called the Dr. to get more pain meds for the shingles and he called in a new prescription but apparently insurance won't release the meds until 1/18... Headed home through some thick snow. Got home and hung out working on the puzzle and then watching a cute wrestling movie with LJ&G. Went to the bathroom during the movie and the toilet wouldn't flush... Finished the movie and then J helped me take a part the bathroom sink and snake down into the main drain. We got the blockage to move and I got things cleaned up and headed to bed late. Not a great night of sleeping. Hit AFIB once for about 30 seconds.

20200203 + Last Game

20200203 + Up in the morning and a bit of a late start. Got in to the office and collected my $40 from my Super Bowl winnings and then spent the day keeping things in line and created a couple new processes. Lonie got us Chinese for lunch and it was a fast day. Headed to the middle school down the road to watch G's basketball game and met L there, a buddy from work joined us. It was a good game and G played hard. I had a candy bar and Gatorade for a snack. Home and hung out and relaxed until time to go to Bible Bangers, no Doc he had an early Dr. appointment the next morning. First time out with the guys in a while and it was good to see them. I over did it a bit on the food, bad idea. I had sweet tea, fries and ketchup, nuggets and sauce. That on top of all the other sugar and salt I had knocked my heart back into AFIB... Up until 5am-ish trying to relax and get heart back in rhythm and eventually fell asleep.

20200118 - ER Visit

20200118 - G woke me up in the am to make sure I took my pills on time and he made me a waffle for bfast. Tom ran G to a baseball clinic that was going on at the high school. I hung out around the house and got some things done. J home from his friends and G home from the clinic. We hung out most of the afternoon. J ran G to basketball and then went to work, D came home and hung out with me. D ran and picked G up from practice and the g got ready to go to Owen's for the night. During the packing process G got upset about D using a screen and was throwing a fit. As I got involved I could feel myself getting upset, I was already upset that J had to work and was not going to poker with me, this triggered my heart to go out of rhythm. I quietly played solitaire for several hour trying to get heart to relax and go back into rhythm. It was better but not back to normal when I left to go play cards. I stopped at gas station got a protein bar and a cappuccino and then got on the highway. As I ate the protein bar and drank the coffee I could feel myself getting more anxious and thing getting more out of sync. By the time I got to Reynoldsburg exit on 70 I was light headed and feet and hands were going numb. I put the windows down for fresh cold air to help keep me alert and made it to the Etna exit where I pulled into a McDonald’s and gas station combo. I went in and got myself a cup of coffee. Sat down and when I sat down things got worse so went to bathroom, a lot of urges to pee during the whole event. Called D and told him I may need him to pick me up. Walked around outside, not getting better. Texted D and sent him my location and to come get me. Went in and walked around the inside of the gas station becoming more dizzy and shaky. Told the guy there I might need his help. We chatted for a min and I started shaking more. I told him to call the squad. He talked to the squad forever and told me they said no coffee. Put that down and then paced a bit, and then waited for the ambulance that seemed to take forever to get there. Called D and told him not to come I was getting a squad and would contact him later to let him know where I was. Waited… Ambulance arrived, I climbed in, they did some tests, D showed up. Ambulance took me to Mt. Carmel East to a room in the ER and they got me hooked up to stuff. D had called L so she was a mess and called folks. Bill showed up and D shortly after. They gave me some drugs that dropped my heart rates form 160s to 90-100. They did other stuff and I sat. J showed up with Bryce and they were going to go get my car. I was uneasy with that so sent D&J to get it. Everyone left and I tried to relax and get my heart back in rhythm. Eventually they took me to an observation area where they drew lots of blood. I feel asleep.

20200109 + Game Time

20200109 + Up in the am and in to work. Had a couple meetings as I walked in the door. At the desk getting things done. Hd a pretty stressful day, had to let a guy go, one of the worse ones I have ever done... Finished the day and swung by the house to pick L up and go to G's basketball game. I ended up doing the book for the game so L sat by herself. G had a really good game and played a lot, they won.  After G's game L&I had dinner at Taco Bell. I ran L home and then went to meet Bill & Tom at D-Bats for a baseball meeting. Home and hung out in the living room, G doing homework and L working on her school stuff. J home late from work. To bed in good time.

20200102 - Framed

20200102 - Up late with only a couple hours of sleep...  In to work very late and dead tired. I got my picture frames set up. somehow limped through the day and made it home. To bed early and out like a light.

20191226 - Quiet Day

20191226 - Up in the am and headed in to work. Nice quiet day at the desk getting things done for 2019 and getting ready for 2020. Finished the day and was the last one out of the building. Got home and had dinner with L&G, they used the Fry Daddy and made french fries :-) After dinner we watched a movie, I fell asleep... When I woke up we watched some more TV and hung out. J came home from work, changed and went to spend the night at a friends. D came home from a buddy's late.
