061130 – 8:00am Amsterdam time and my Mom is calling my cell phone… it is 2am est. so this can’t be good… Great Grandma Winger had a stroke yesterday. Not much more I can say, just sitting here as the sun comes up reflecting on the great value she has added to my life… They are doing all they can for her.

061129 - City Morning
061129 - Up @ 6:30 had some coffee, got clnd up then sat in the window reading w/ some tea. This shot is from the Hotel balcony waiting for my ride to work @ 7:45 & all the trams and people are starting to move about. Very qiet compared to our big cities.
061129 - Dinner?
061129 - Up early, Niall carried me to work for another day of training... Ivo carried me home where I stuck off on foot to find some food. I ended up in Pakastani or Indian place & pointed to the most appetizing dish, we will see how it goes down. This pic is of one of th many types of small cars here. Everyone is so much more efficient and energy conscious here.
061128 - Day one...
061128 – Ivo carried me to work today. We stopped at a BP and got some bfast at the ‘Wild Bean Café’ (yes exactly like the one in the US). We then continued on to work and pass this castle on the road. We got there and when I plugged in my laptop I knocked out all of the computers in the office. Apparently my converter was bad, and I blew a fuse or 2… Great start!!! Anyway I am getting some orientation. Niall carried me back to the hotel where I had dinner in the Hofbar. Then some reading and some sleep

061127 - Amsterdam
061127 - After a terribly long day of travel I finally arrrive. No jet lag as I slept from Detroit to London nearly the entire flight and from London to Amsterdam. Niall promptly fetched me at the airport and got me to my hotel. I have checked in (picture is my view) and we will be going out for dinner shortly.
061127 - 6 Hours for 1 screw...
061127 - I find myself over the Atlantic this morning headed to London. I missed my direct flight to Amsterdam because when in Columbus someone notice a screw was loose in the threshold of the plane that houses the escape slide. Aparently this was an esy fix, but required the call in a maintenance man to tighten it... On hour later the guy shows up, 30 second later the screw is tightened, but it could only be done by an aircraft mechanic, got to love the Unions..... Anyway I am now in London's Gatwig Internationa airport, where I had to retrieve my bag, wait through 4 lines, Passport, Customs, Ticketing & Security to get on a British Airlines flight to Amsterdam. = 6 hours of my life wasted for 1 loose screw...
061125 - Gahanna Holiday Light Parade
061125 - Up had some bfast & the boys headed to the barn while I got the car loaded. Home in good time packed & getting things done for my trip. Played with the boys a bit, had some dinner then off to the parade...
061124 - Holiday Lights @ Richland Co fairgrounds
061124 - up & L&I out to get her a coat and found a special hard to find toy for Howdy. Home had some lunch then down to the farm house to do some work. Had some dinner then headed out for the annual Christmas light viewing at the Richland Co fairgrounds.

061123 - Following family traditions, Howdy shoots his first real gun! Dylan is a huge gun fan. So we thought it might be a good idea for him to see what a REAL gun sounds and feels like. Needless to say, he has a whole new respect for them now…
061123 - Thanksgiving Dinner is served
061123 - Thankgiving dinner at the farm 2006. Above all the aunts line up for a photo. For as long as I can remember they have been preparing Thanksgiving dinner for us. We always have a hug line of people lined up to eat and everyone gets more than they need.

060119 - Up late last night with Grant, I hit the rack @ 4:30... Every up and at it. Howdy made Jack & himself a salami & pepperoni sandwich lunch. Heading out for some errands...061117 - Sword Night
061117 - Up got Howdy off to school, he walked by himself to practice while I'm on my trip... Insurance adjuster out this am. Hit the gas station then on the pc and phone the rest of the day. Grant had a Dr visit today, everything is good! Took howdy to his sword seminar. He had to do a little presentation. Heading home to play game.061116 - Cub Scout Cakes Sale
061116 - Up took Howdy to school, did some work, went & got fitted for a new eye. Home worked rest of afternoon, still finalizing insurance and new job stuff. Had dinner, played rough w/ the boys, then we headed to the cake sale061115 - Howdy Bakes a Cake
061115 - Walked Howdy to school. Day 3 new of new job, very slow but that is expexted, got everything set up now. Jack & Grant hung @ the house, howdy to friends after school. After dinner Howdy & I baked a cake for his Cub Scout Cake Sale tomorrow night....

061104 - 6am, I woke up with the boys playing in the basement... I must have fallen asleep down there last night and never made it to the bed... Up ate, ran Howdy to karate. J&I put plastic on some windows, worked on the dryer and humidifier. Little boys fell asleep and LD&I are going to watch the Buckeyes!061103 - I want to be little
