20250203 - Up and in to the Worthington office. Only Cory and I here today. We went to Old bag for lunch and then back to the office and i distributed paper towels and then back to the desk. Finished up the day and headed home. We had a record high of 64 degrees in Columbus today and it was beautiful out. I got home, L was helping Steph get clothes together for the calling hours and funeral, G was at practice or his new job. Hazel and I took a big walk, hung a couple maple sap buckets out and threw her ball. Hung out on the back porch until time to go to Bible Bangers.

20220207 - 1st Bucket!

20220207 - Up in the am and LJ&G at school. Hazel and I up and working from the living room this morning. I headed in to the office and settled in for the day. L&J home after half a day. L took Hazel in a big walk and I got a break later and took her on a short walk. L cooked a big dinner as J and JGF6 were to join us for dinner but that didn’t work… so L&I ate and then D and DGF13 stopped by and hung out. We chatted and made fun of people on the Bachelor. D ran and picked up G from baseball for us. When the show ended they heard out back and hung the first maple sap bucket! J home late. To bed in good time, did some reading.

20210221 - Drain & Tree Plumbers

20210221 - Up in the am and G&I down to the basement to replace the drainpipe. It didn't take as long as I thought and I think it is going to be ok, no leaks. After that I did a bit on the PC and watched the OSU basketball game with L&G. When the game was over I broke some ice out from under the garage door and then Hazel and I loaded up and headed out. We stopped at the gas station on the way to the dog park. We got to the dog park and there were too many dogs for me so we stayed on the other side away from the mess and there were just a few dogs that Hazel had some fun with. After about an hour we headed to an auction house to pick up some wins. We got our stuff and one more stop at Wendy's to see J and get us a couple frosties. Home and had our snack. J home and G joined us in putting out some maple sap buckets. In from the cold for the rest of the day and got some Booster stuff done. L made us some chicken soup for dinner and we hung out and watched some TV ending up on American Idol.

20200216 + Tap Time

20200216 + Up in the am and dropped G off at baseball practice. L&I headed to church. Home and got a couple things done around the house. Eventually G got home and J got up. I had the boys tap a couple maple trees, did it pretty much on their own this year, no D. I headed out to a lunch meeting in the afternoon and was gone a couple hours. Home and G made plans with a buddy to spend the night at his place so I ran him out while L got interviewed by D for a paper he is doing on the history of education.

20190217 + Tapping Trees

20190217 + Up in the am and LJG&I to church. Home and I rushed G out to baseball practice, some were annoyed we were late, my response, God before baseball... they will get over it... I stayed there and talked with folks until practice was over and then headed home. I got stuff out to work on and the boys played on the Xboxes as I did things for G's baseball team and the boosters all afternoon. In the evening L ran the boys to youth group at church and brought us dinner home. I had to run and take G and Brady to the laser place as there were not enough seats in the church vehicles to take everyone. A lot of J&G's friends were at the laser place and they had a blast. I headed home and Chris and Vinnie stopped over to watch The Walking Dead. L ran to pick up J&G and after the show we all headed to bed. I woke up with the TV on and was a wake doing things on the PC until late.

20160214 + Cold Tapping

20160214 + Up in the am and L&I exercised. All to church, the boys dressed in their Scout uniforms for Scout Sunday. The boys carried in the flags with the Troop, D had the American flag and G had the Pack flag. It was a long service with a lot of instruments and singing and a bit of a message. D collected the offering for our side and nearly dropped the $... After church L&I went to the Cheesecake Factory for a wind-tunnel lunch. We swung in to the Celebrate Local store for a look before G gave us a call to come home and feed him. Home and D headed out to see his valentie, but she puked and didn't show... JG&I headed out in the 17 degree weather to hang the maple syrup buckets. J&I ran in and G stayed outside to play with L. I was at the desk for a bit and L&J went and got groceries. D back home and we ran to ot the rental to see if they were out. I didn't take the keys so had to make a second trip... They had the heat cranked to 78 and some stuff left in the house so we left. Home and D out to youth group, L had already dropped J off while we were out. LG&I had some dinner and dessert. I ran back out to pick J up and then home and we watched some of Frozen. Soon down to the basement to the best Walking Dead EVER!
