20260630 - Up early and headed towards work. Stopped at Home Depot to get electrical supplies and then at a bank up by Polaris to get cash for commission of ebay sales, but the bank is closed. So the only option was in Delaware so i ended up going there... Apparently it is the only location left, not as handy as when the branch was in Gahanna... Closed 2 accounts, got the cash and finally to work. Got to work and everyone but J had shorts on, even me and CB, hahahah! To the desk for a call, lunch with the guys at Old Bag, Stayed a bit after 5 and then headed home with a stop at an auction place on the way. home and J sitting on the back porch watching his phone, the internet is out... That took about an hour to figure out a tech needed to come out... On the porch had a couple beers, super hot out. hazel and I walked down to Creekside and she got in the water. We stopped at Signatures on the way home. home and cleaned some stuff up and bed in good time.

20260627 - Up late and Hazel and I ran to Chuck's depot to pick up auction wins. We stopped by 1 Unique Motors on the way home to say hi and pick up my shirt. Home and Replaced the top of the cabinet the recycle bins sit on with a stainless steel table top i got for a seal at auction, LOOK AMAZING! On the back porch listing stuff. Hazel and I took a break and got Burger King for dinner. Home and had soccer on the TV, not paying any attention to it and stayed up late listed everything on ebay.

20260625 + Up in the am and swung by the shipper on the way in to work. To the Worthington office for the day. We had BBQ and I ran to Old Bag to pick up a carrot cake for Alex who's last day is Friday, and had a big lunch for him. I did our training session with the team, got the truck started and office inventory done. Put an order in and finished off the day taking out the trash. Home and L and the girls stuck in SE Columbus as their plane had mechanical issues and they stayed at the Scioto Down hotel for an early departure tomorrow. I sent out my 'Lori has left me and I need beer text' and startled some and Rob showed up with beer. We sat on the back porch and for the evening catching up and enjoying the evening.

First time I had seen my Dr. since she got in a head on collision with her family, a drunk driver came in to their lane and hit them head on at 50mph... 20260620 - In the afternoon Tom stopped by and we all went down to Creekside to get some bourbon chicken and some drinks. We ran in to Nate and Nichol and stayed to watch HooDoo preform until late.

20260619 - After work L&I walked down to Creekside for the Jazzfest. We had a nice dinner in the new Mexican place and listened to music and ran in to a bunch of folks we knew.

20260616 - Up in the am and out the door. Saw the road crew in my rearview mirror so backed up and walked over to talk with them about where they put Doc's water shut off, right in the middle of his driveway, to see if they would move it. The main man on the crew said 'Yeah I think it is ridiculous too, and both the city and our boss said I couldn't move it because they were goin to put the drain basin in the yard.' So looks like not solving that problem today... The police chief was there too trying to figure out how to keep people from parking in our construction zone for the Creekside Jazzfest this weekend and we walked the road back towards our house. He was the detective that came out Christmas eve years ago to arrest the shooter neighbor and remembered it all. In to work, small crowd, got a call and some things done and we went to Old Bag for lunch. Back tot he office and the DF truck wouldn't start. To the desk to finish the day.

The road work is down in front of our house now so had to go the long way to drop stuff at the shippers. in to work and to the desk. Had lunch with the guys and back to the desk for the afternoon.

20260606 - L wasn't feeling good so i headed to Nik kurlas' grad party, son of our old neighbor Joe and his wife Lisa. It was raining like crazy... hung out for just a short time and then headed home, picked up l and we headed downtown to the Short North Stage to see the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It was another good show.
