20211117 - Bad Day

20211117 - Up in the am and L&G at school and J home but feeling better. I jumped on a call and although it was a good call  and lots of good things happened, there were several offline things that happened that were NOT good... I was on the phone the rest of the day for more meetings and had a call with CB at the end of the day. Went out and threw the ball to Hazel and had a couple beers. A coworker called and chatted with me for about an hour and then I headed in and got something to eat. L&I hung out in front of the TV the rest of the night and she got G signed up for some basketball this winter.

20191223 - Christmas Angel

20191223 - Up in the am and in to work. Had a fill day of folks scrambling around to try and get things done before Christmas. Headed home in good time and hung out at the house for the evening as Scouts and Bible Bangers were cancelled. Chris Pettit stopped by with a funny gift for me.

20191031 - Poo Foot

20191031 - Up in the am dropped J off at school. In to work through a rainy messy traffic day. A lot of folks dressed up for Halloween today at work. Many of us dressed up as Courtland, pretty funny. We had some pizza for lunch, but not the big production as last year when we were all in the office together.  Finished the day and headed home. Home and ate with L, J upstairs on Xbox and G at basketball tryout. After we ate I headed to pick up G up and waited a bit for the cut discussions... After waiting a while G came out with a big smile, he made the team!!! I ran G over to a buddies to go Trick-or-Treating and he changed in the backseat on the way. We saw his friends, I pulled over and he bolted to catch up and get some candy. I swung by the Pettit's on the way home and range the doorbell for a treat. Home and J went to a friends, they ended up trick-or-treating as well, bunch of dumb giants... L handed out candy to the few kids that come to our door. I ran and picked G up and helped inspect his candy. J home and all boys to bed. L&I up a couple more hours cleaning up from Lilly's escapade of stepping in dog poo and dragging it all over the house. It stunk horrible and we had to clean everything!!!

20181026 - Costumes and Pies

20181026 - Up in the am and L&J wished me happy bday. I dropped J off at school got some gas and swung through McD's to get myself a birthday sausage McMuffin :-) Got to work and it is loud in the office today as it is the Halloween dress up pizza party with pies for dessert. We had our costume competition and some of the girls really went all out with elaborate costumes and makeup. We had a nice pizza and pie lunch and then I finished the day up and headed out. Home through hard rain and crappy traffic. Picked up LJ&G and we headed to Easton, a 30 min drive due to traffic... We got our seats ordered our food and had dinner while we watched 'The House with a Clock in the Walls'. It was a cute show and we walked around Easton for a bit afterwards. home and J&I watched a couple of the Hellraiser movies while G watched the World Series. After J fell asleep and headed up to bed I joined G in the basement to watch some of the WS and of course it ended up being 18 innings and the longest WS game ever..

20180928 - Ferrari

20180928 - Up in the am and J's mouth still swollen so he stayed home from school again today... I headed in later than normal and getting odds and ends done. Took a break to go out and sit in CB's new Ferrari :-) Finished up the day and headed home. Home and LJG&I went to Wendy's for dinner and then dropped G off at the church to go camping with the Scouts for the weekend and take the hunter safety course. Home and LJ&I watched 'The Invitation' a really good thriller that freaked L&J out. I had to stay up and watch another comedy movie with J so he would be able to sleep :-)

20180723 + Nice Break

20180723 + Up in the am and in to work. Starting the process of lining things up so being out next week won't cause any disruption on progress. Was at the desk all day cleaning out email, made the HR girl cry (not sure why I'll talk to her tomorrow). Got good and organized. CB rolled out a nice new break room today. Home in good time. Helped G as he melted down with the Xbox a bit and discussed the need for him to grow up and stop melting down, take the time to assess the situation and find a fix. Talked to Jim from next door about our cable for a bit. L made a nice dinner and then I headed into the office to pay the bills for the past 3 weeks and the next 2. Picked Doc up and headed to Bible Bangers, He's very wobbly and has stitches over his eye from falling out of bed. Chris told us of his adventures in Europe with the fam and showed us some pics. We all then caught up with each other a bit before heading home. Doc and I stopped for gas, I got his trash out and then buckled down at the desk until 2am finishing things up.

20180629 - HOTTs

20180629 - Up in the am and in to work. Had a full day at the desk organizing and publishing policies and procedures. Interviewed a couple of the folks for info and had a good day. L went to D's games and texted me throughout the day to let me know how it was going, they won both games. J went to a buddy's for the day and G went to the pool with some friends. After work I headed to a poker game with the guys from work. We took a tour of the new building that is looking better and better and got some pizza before settling in for some poker. We played one round of Texas Hold'em using their rules, which were crazy, but it was a lot of fun and a good time. I beat L home as she was with some of our friends for a 50th bday party.

20180226 - Old Friends

20180226 - Up in the am and in to work. it was a busy day of heads down on the PC and many discussions. L took J to XC in the morning to run and LJ&G gathered more pipestone after J's running and then hung out at the pool, where , D worked from 11-4. Rain rolled in and I changed plans to head downtown to the Clippers game with the folks from DataField for dinner and to watch some baseball, a very friendly and close group here. Ran into Dena from DecisionOne and her, Keith and I caught up for a bit. I hung out and met some new folks and headed home before the 7th inning stretch. Home and L&J watching TV in the living room, D&G watching the College World Series in the basement. I got changed and then hung out with L&J until folks headed to bed.
