20260329 - Up in the am and L&I to church and then Bob Evan's. We stopped by Giant Eagle for some things on the way home. Home for a bit and L headed to Marlene's to work on some shower thing and Hazel and I headed across town to pick up an auction win. Home and got some reading done and then took a short nap before Hazel and I walked to Marlow's to pick up dinner. We then walked over to Creekside and had dinner on a big rock down by the creek. Home and started listing things on ebay, L home just in time to see an amazing finish in the basketball game that was on. Hing out listing things on ebay and watching TV the rest of the night.

20260328 + Up late and puttered around the house a bit. L&I took Hazel on a walk, it was colder than we thought out. Headed out to Bodega, a bar int he short north and had some really good greasy burgers and a beer before heading the the Short Nort Stage to see Miss Saigon. It was AMAZING! They do such a good job with their shows. Home late and straight to bed.

20260327 - Up late and on the PC getting things done. Got Jan 2021 P&L historically restored, had a call and got invoices processed. Hazel and I ran to Reynoldsburg to pick up auction wins. Home and wrapped up the week. L&I went to Rusty Bucket for a quick bite to eat. Home and watched basketball.

20260326 - Up in the am and dropped ebay shipments off on the way in to the Worthington office. Had the backflow preventer in the office tested today and moving forward on a bunch of little things. had lunch with the team. back to the desk and feeling pretty tired and achy. Got trash out early and headed to the ocularist. Home and wanting to go to bed, but threw the ball to hazel and bit, watched some TV with L, DGF13 and Hank over to play, then I got something to eat and L and I watched 'Anaconda' with Jack Black and it was pretty funny. Finally to bed and out like a light.

20260325 - Up in the am and to the Dr. for a follow up on falling asleep, she gave me a new med to try. Home and to the desk knocking thing out. Took a walk with hazel, L home and now she feels like she's been hit by a bus. Finished the day, threw the ball to hazel a bit, had dinner and watched the news. Hazel and I went for a drive to pick up meds. Home and watched Survivor with L and headed to bed. No bingo tonight, just a relaxing night at home.

20260324 - Up in the am and had a challenge getting out of the drive, the trash truck had broken down... Dropped off a package at the post office and then in to the Worthington office. Got set up, worked on my bonsai for a couple min and then got ready for a morning of calls. Calls ran over lunch and I ate in my office while on more calls. Super busy day, finished up late but remembered to paint the door that I had ground down a couple days ago. Had extra paint so left a message on the side of the building for CB.

20260323 - Up slow and to the desk and on the ph. Got a ton done today. L home and gave Hazel a bath. Out of the office and had dinner with L and watched the news. Not feeling great so skipping Bible Bangers tonight. Helped L get the trash and grasses to the curb and then in to relax and watch American Idol.

20260322 + Up in the am and to church with L and then Bob Evans. Home and I got the laptop out and worked on invoices. L gave G a haircut before he headed back to school. Got those done and L&I took Hazel on a walk. On the back porch watching basketball, Columbus OH hit a record high for any day in March in recorded history with a temp of 86! Headed in a watched some more basketball. Bed in good time.

20260321 - Up LATE and headed out and helped Riley finish up the trimming of the grasses. Then headed in to pay bills. Back out and watched some basketball on the porch and cooked some pork chops on the grill. We ate and watched more basketball.

20260320 - Up in the am and to the desk getting things done. Had a full day and L&I headed out right at 5 to have dinner at Chili's. It was good, but it was so loud. Headed north with a nice drive to see the Curtain Players play of Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2B. It is in a little church out in the country and we thought oh boy here we go again. We headed in and got our seats in the theatre. It is small and cozy with only about 100 seats. The play was amazing! We both really enjoyed it. Home late and to bed.

20260319 - Up in the am and headed in to the Worthington office. Had a full day and did a training during lunch. On the phone until late and got the trash out and headed home. Home and L cooked dinner and we ate and watched the news.

20260318 + Up late and to the desk for 3 straight hrs of calls... Got a lot done, Hazel and I took a walk and then back to the desk to finish out the day. L&I headed to bingo and we had a table of 18 tonight, couple new faces from work showed up. It was fun and L headed home and the work guys stayed and sang a bit. Chaff carried me home.

20260317 - Up in the am and in to the Worthington office. I was surprised to see that the drive was blocked off AFTER pulling way in between the two buildings for a tree leaning over the parking lot. I had to back out on to busy High Street and use the exit as the entrance. I got in to the office and got some cones and took them to block off the entrance right at High St so no one else had to back out on to the busy street... In and checked in with everyone ang doe the day rolling. had lots of meetings and the day went really fast. Home and we had leftovers for dinner and watched the news. L went downstairs to ride her bike and i headed to Planet Fitness. Home from my workout, cleaned up and to bed, up LATE working.

20260316 - Up late and to the desk, hit it hard and got a ton done. It was a crappy day so no walk. L home and cooked steaks for LJG&I for dinner. We all ate together and then I had to spend some time to get the TV in the basement working for L before heading to Doc's to give him a Hershey bar and chat for a bit before going to Mcd's for Bible Bangers. ScottH&S were there and we went through some of the Screwtape letters. Home and watched some American Idol and stayed up late trying to get the TV right, L messed something up with the picture... To bed in good time.

20260315 + Up in the am and L&I to church and then Bob Evan’s for brunch. We stopped a Giant Eagle for dinner supplies and ran into the Mallonns on the way out. Home and changed and realized I didn’t have apple cider vinegar so L Hazel and I ran to the library for L to get books but it was closed, no power, and then on to Kroger where the power was back on today, shelves full and I got the vinegar. Back home and wrapped the pork butts with foil and was trying to read on the porch. It was so windy the cover of my book blew off… L raking and doing yard work. The pork wasn't cooking fast enough so we put it in the oven and cranked up the heat. D and Hank showed up and ran and played in the yard. J&JGF7 showed up. Food was taking too long... DGF13, Grant and one of his buddies arrived and pork was done shortly after. I shredded it up and we had a feast! After dinner I took a couple containers of stuff over to Doc and Ms. Crews and visited for a bit. Home and couldn't sleep.

20260314 ‡ Up in the am and got some things done around the house. GpaW sent a pic of the pole barn with the roof blown off and a wall leaning out... no other info... Hazel and I headed out to pick up Auction items and went all over town. Home and unloaded our treasurers and then headed to Kroger to get some pork butts to smoke, Kroger was empty, apparently they lost power and stored everything away. pretty strange... Went to a different Kroger that had power and got the butts. Home and I listed stuff on eBay and seasoned the 20lbs of pork. We watched basketball and hung out. Put the pork butts in the smoker at midnight.

20260312 - Up in the am and to the Worthington office for the day. Was a super busy day and DJ couldn't pick up lunch so I ran to Polaris to get it. Had lunch with the team, calls all afternoon, got trash and headed home. L at a play with her girlfriends, Hazel and I walked to the drive-tru to get beer. Home lit the fire table and hung out on the porch throwing the ball. Hank D&DGF13 came over to play. L home late and to bed.

20260310 - Up in the am and dropped some packages off on the way to the computer place to pick up laptops for work. in to the office and got set up. Had lunch with the team, J here in the big training room all by himself today. Had the drain guys come out and clean out the drains from the sump pump and gutters. On the phone for calls. Headed out early, home, got L, picked up an auction win on the west side of CMH through horrible rush hour traffic. Dow to the Area District and had a nice dinner, $3 cheeseburgers!, at Brothers Bar & Grill. Walked to the Fury game and the ladies lost in 3 straight sets... Home and watched the 'Melania' movie in bed.

20260309 - Was up most of the night... Did get up and get on a couple of work calls and then had to go back to bed for a bit. Up in the afternoon and got everything I needed to get done done. Hazel and I dropped some packages off and then to the pet store to get her some food and a toy. Home and had dinner with L and watched the news. Over to Doc's for a visit and then to Bible Bangers, only me and ScottH were there and went over the Screwtape letters and caught up on stuff. home and finished watching American Idol with L and then read another chapter of the Screwtape Letters, watched Youtube videos on chapter 9 and 10 and headed to bed.

20260308 - Up LATE, L and Nicole to Gma&paB's. L called and said Rich had a plumbing issue so I called and checked in with him, he's got it figured out. I shipped eBay and got a couple more things done at the desk. Hazel and I took a walk and I threw her ball a bit. I got myself a beer and L put the garage door up just as i was taking the top off... Hazel and I ran to pick up Jets Pizza for dinner. hung out and relaxed the rest of the evening.

20260307 + Up in the ma nd L&I headed up to the Dolce's Maple Syrup day. As soon as we got off of 71 it started raining... We went and checked out the operation, it has changed a lot since the days I took the boys up. We visited in his shed and had some pancakes and sausage. Then to Gma&paW's house to see the work, things look AMAZING! L&I helped get their bedroom set up and some other small things and TV instructions. Headed home for a short stop and then to Pickerington for dinner at a Mexican place and then a trip through TSC so L could get some bday stuff for GmaB. Then to the Wigwam Event Center for a Pickerington Community Theatre presentation of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. It was entertaining for sure... Home and found that Hazel learned how to open the drawer in our bedroom to get to my stash of beef jerky and ate ALL OF IT! BAD DOG! To bed after a nice long day.

20260306 - Up in the am and to the desk. Got on the phone and stayed there the rest of the day until 6:30pm. L&I headed to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, it was in the 70's and everyone in the world was out for dinner... so we scrapped that idea and headed to Joe's Pub and Grill, a place I have seen a million times but have never stopped at. We went in and it was a bit loud but pretty empty. We ordered and chatted and made plans for the weekend and after an hour with no food were questioning our choice... The waitress came out and apologized, comped our meal and then shortly after our food came out. It was worth the wait, everything was delicious! We ate, headed home and watched TV the rest of the night.

20260305 - Up in the am and in to the Worthington office through crappy hard rain. Stopped in the training room and gave Kasey a hard time. Up to the desk and Lonie here, got his bird toys and wood I got at the auctions for him. Got set up and got the day rolling. Had lunch with the team and then on the phone for a long time. Then Joe and I met and reviewed how to process vendor invoices and recorded it. A bit after 5 we wrapped up and I got the trash out. Headed home and was beat. L&I had leftovers and watched Survivor.

20260304 - Up in the am and to the desk. had a bunch of calls in a row and the day zoomed by. hazel and I went on a walk and then I packed up my laptop and some electronic supplies and headed to Signatures about 2:30 to help setup for bingo and Queen of Hearts tonight. They moved things around so David was up front selling QOH tickets and I spent several hours trying to get the microphone to play through the speakers on the back and front patio but failed. The place filled up early and bingo started at 5. We played bingo until it was time to pick the QOH. A young lady won, she is a nursing student and said she had no idea how she was going to pay for school. Happy she won. So here ends the craziness of QOH and hopefully Wed Bingo nights calm down. I stayed late and did some cleanup and karaoke.

Took the angle grinder to the door so it stops sticking then to the desk for calls and to wrap up the day. Home and had dinner with L and watched the news and hung out watching TV.

20260301 - Up in the am, put a brisket flat in the smoker and L&I to church. It was Scout Sunday and it was good to see the leaders and catch up a bit. After church we went to bob Evans, that was incredibly slow, but we didn't have anything to do. Stopped at Giant Eagle on the way home and some groceries. Home and listed stuff on eBay all day. J&JGF7 were there for dinner and a visit. D, DGF13 and Hank came over a bit later and ate and visited. I finished listing stuff and burned a pot with sap in it. Up way to late watching funny videos on instagram.

We then walked over to nationwide Arena for the Fury game and got free t-shirts and watched the girls lose 3 straight sets in a row, made for a early night. Home and watched some TV with L.

20260225 - Up late and to the desk getting things done and working out a billing issue escalation. L home and we headed to bingo real early and got our seats. Had a super full bar tonight with people standing around and no one could even move... There were only 2 cards left on the Queen of hearts and the queen was NOT PICKED! Now there is only one card left and the pot is up to $82k... It will be a MAD HOUSE next week. L headed home after bingo and Chaff and I hung out a bit longer and then he carried me home. Up late and watched all of 'Night of the Seven Kingdoms'.

20260224 - Up in the am and dropped off a package and went to the donut shop on the way in to work. To the office and passed out the treats. Saw J and the other trainee, got their timesheets fixed but not the projector so ordered them one. Fixed the light in the bathroom and got on some calls. Got supplies and distributed them and replenished the stock. Finished the day, home, ate with L&J. Watched the news, getting some work done before the State of the Union.

Got to a stopping point and ran to pick up some auction wins, return something to Amazon and then to the shipping store to get some boxes. Home and to the desk and finished the day. Out of the office and had dinner with L and watched the news. Headed over to Doc's for a visit before heading to Bible Bangers. Small group tonight but good to catch up. Home and Chris stopped and helped be walk down to the neighbors and salvage an old glass door cabinet someone was throwing out. In and got a couple things done and headed to bed.

Did an emergency process review with everyone during lunch, took inventory for supplies, back to the desk to finish the day. Home late and L had dinner ready. Eat and watched curling. To bed, read Screwtape Letters and watched some YouTube videos to help explain this book. Ended up on an interesting video on the history of Mar-a-Logo.

20230218 + Up late and on the phone. Got cleaned up and Hazel and I took a walk. L home and I finished up and we headed to bingo at Signature's, J & JGF7 showed up shortly after. We had a full table of 21 tonight. Tony got picked for card #2 in the Queen of Hearts game and his card was the Queen of Clubs. There are only 2 cards left and the jackpot is up to $66k. The place is PACKED. Finished up bingo, sang a couple songs, headed home and to bed.

Had lunch with the team and then to the new endocrinologist for an appointment. She told me things look stable and to stop taking the meds and lets see what happens over the next 6 month. Back to the office for some more calls and then rushed back to Gahanna to the eye Dr. where J&L had just finished up. Got my eye checked and everything looks great. Home and ate and L&I watched a weird movie 'Honey Don't', entertaining enough. Off to bed.

20260215 - Up in the a and ran some errands, got gas in L's car, chew, pouches, toffee coffee. On to K-Roger and found a 4.5lb bone in pork loin for $5 i got to throw in the smoker tomorrow, some zzzquil, Doritos and whiskey. Home and [picked up Hazel and took a load of stuff to Goodwill and give her a ride in the car. Home and getting some more stuff done. Rich and Nicole arrived and we headed down to Creekside for the Chocolate Walk. We went all over to the places and tried their stuff. We ended up at Marlow's Cheesesteaks as the last stop and had some dinner. Home and took Hazel on a walk, hung 2 of our sap buckets and threw the ball for a bit. In and L watching the Olympics.

20260214 + Up late and L brought me bfsat in bed. Got up and around and got a couple of things done around the house. Took Hazel on a walk. 20260212 + Up in the am and Lonie picked me up and carried me to get my car, only $1,500 OMG! I then ran to LabCorp to have a walk in blood test done for next weeks endocrinologist appointment but there was a 1 hour and 23 minute wait, NOPE! Headed to work, started calls as I walked in the door. On calls until lunch and ate with the team. Had one more call and a couple of meetings before i wrapped things up, did trash and headed home. Home and L&I had dinner and watched the news and then turned on the Olympics and relaxed the rest of the night.

Took a break to get cleaned up before afternoon calls started. had my calls, L home, we headed to bingo early to get our table. Had another 23 show up tonight, the place was packed. Had 2 big winners from the table, JGF7 won and had to split it with Bill McClain. Connie Sampson from our table was picked for the Queen of hearts tonight, but her card was NOT the QoH. Pot is not up to $58k and I am guessing next week will be even more crowded. Home and to bed.

20260210 - Up in the am and out to post office and then a tire place with L's car. First place was on hour wait to even look at it so went to another of the 327 tire stores on Hamilton Rd. The second place said the valve stem is leaking, BUT the tires were dry rot and needed replaced for $1,200... So told them just to fix the valve stem, they said no too much liability, so I said fill it up with air so i can leave. Third place found the valve stem was leaking and replaced it... By this time it was 12:30 so skipped going in to the office and headed back home to the desk to take calls the rest of the afternoon. Took Hazel on a walk between calls. L home and made dinner. We ate and then she headed out to Sam's orchestra concert. J Hazel and I went out and got gas and beer. Watched TV doing work. L home to bed late.

20260209 - Up in the am and to the desk. Had a full day of getting things done. L home with a flat tire... she made dinner and we ate, watched the news and then I pumped up her tire and took the car out. Stopped at Doc's, but he was resting, dropped off a candy bar for him. On to Bible Bangers and both the Scotts were there. Home and L's tire lost 9lbs of air in the short time I was gone... In and wrapped things up and watched a bit of TV before bed.

20260208 - Up in the am and listed all the stuff from yesterday on ebay. L&I headed to get some lunch and the powersteering on my car wouldn't work... so we took her car. We had a yummy lunch, I had french onion soup and fish and chips and L had wings and fries. It was so good and we watched the buckeyes basketball while we ate. Home and I started my car to see if just needed to warm up and took Hazel on a walk. Back to the house and now the battery light is on.. that can only mean one thing, that the serpentine belt is broke.  Got the keys and popped the hood and yep, belt is broken. got a tow truck to haul it to Evan's Automotive. Fiddled around in the garage a bit and then in to watch the super bowl.

20260207 + Was up almost all night.. Fell asleep for a bit when L took a shower. Up and shipped a couple ebay things and then Hazel and I headed out to pick up some auction items. Home and L gave Hazel a haircut and I paid bills. Headed out to the annual poker party at Mark's in Hebron. It was great to see the guys and everyone asked where J was, he's been playing card with these guys since he was like 10. I didn't stay to late and got home a shave dog.

Had a great time and the girls at the bar hid the karaoke machine from me. Head out with Andrew and sipped on the ice out front and jammed up my right shoulder. Home and got my stuff together to head in to the office tomorrow and headed to bed. Hazel had a seizure to end the night.

20260131 - Up LATE and got a stack of stuff from the office to organize for the next week and watched some TV with L. Got things in line and then headed outside to help Hazel to find her ball. We found the ball and threw it around and had some fun. In, thawed, cleaned up and L&I headed downtown to get a bite to eat at Paulie Gee's Short North a super cute little place for a wood fired pizza. We had the Hellboy pizza. Never had anything like it before, it may have been the best pizza I've ever had. After we ate we headed to our seats at the Short North Stage to see 'Come From Away', the story of the 38 planes that were directed to land in Gander Newfoundland. It was a really good nonstop show, one of our favs we've seen. Home and settled in and we watched 'Redemption' the story of the OSU football team's 2024-25 Championship run. It was really good!. After that 'Truth and Treason' about the 16yr old boy that passed out anti-Hitler pamphlets, and it was really good too!

20260130 - Up and to the desk for calls and stuff. Too cold for a walk today. L home and she is heading out to Steph's with the girls, JT died one year ago today. Hazel and I hung out, ate leftovers, processed invoices for work and watched TV. L home not to late.

20260127 - Up late and on calls. Built and app and then Hazel and I went to pick up auction wins. Home and L helped me mount the TV on the wall and then made us some dinner. We ate, I got the stuff I picked up listed and then shipped a couple things that sold. L worked on a puzzle and brushed Hazel and I checked out some auctions.

20260126 + Up and on a call and as the desk solid till about 3. L had done some shoveling and I got wrapped up and headed out to clear a path in the driveway in case we need to get the car out. Took Hazel out with me and she somehow found her ball buried in the snow so I threw it to her a couple times and she lost her socks L makes her wear to go outside 😂 that’s the first time we have done that since her surgery 2 weeks ago and she bounded through the snow getting covered in ice balls. Got the drive and some of the sidewalk clear. In to warm up and finish the day. L made dinner. We ate and then D needed help shoveling his car out, the snow plow snowed him in. L&I took her car, dropped some packages off at the post office and then the D’s. L went in and chatted with Hank and DGF13 while D and I dug out the cars. Home and hanging out watching Tv and working on a puzzle.

20260125 - Up late to a winter wonderland. We got about 11 inches of snow overnight and it is COLD!!! Hunkered down and worked on listing the things we picked up at auction Friday afternoon. Took a break to remove Hazel’s stitches. L cooked a turkey for dinner, trying to clean out the freezer, it was yummy. Watched NFL Conference Championship and relaxed   I got everything listed! To bed and slept for a bit then wide awake at 1:30 ~ 6:30…

20260124 + Up at 5:30am and couldn't go back to sleep. Up and had some coffee with L and then prepping the bedroom for some work in there today. Heading out to drop off a shipment, get some stuff at Home Depot, gas in L's car and pick up auction wins. Home and unloaded everything and got to work in the bedroom. First job was to to install a new properly grounded outlet for the new grounded sheets. Hope I don’t electrocute us in our sleep… second project was to hang a TV on the bedroom wall and run electric up to it. Well first job went way easier than expected… second job made up for that and was a nightmare! Figured it out and got it done. L&I then headed to our friend Tom’s bday party with his family. The McClains were there too and it was a really good time. Home and to bed.

20250123 - Up late and to the desk. Had a couple of important calls today. Went to file something in the closet and it ended up being a whole project where I cleaned out everything in the closet... L out to eat with her girlfriends tonight and Hazel and I ran to Burger King, J didn't want anything, he and JGF7 made a New Year's resolution to not eat fast food this year... going to be hungry, I would starve...

20260122 + Up in the am and in to the Worthington office for the day. It was a busy day and time flew by. Took the trash out and head out. Home and put the file cabinet drawers back in the cabinet and all the hanging files and supplies back in. Had dinner with L and we started a new series.

20260121 - Up in the am and to the desk. Sat there working until 3:30 and then Hazel and I took a cold mile walk. home finished up the work day and L&I headed to Signatures at 5 to get our seats, we have 23 for tonight. People started showing up and L told them site where you want and messed up the seating chart... ugh I'm not doing that anymore, bingo is becoming more of a job than fun... J & JGF7 came to bingo and had a good time. No one won the Queen of Hearts tonight so the prize is up to $36k, only means more people for next week...  Home and to bed.

20260120 - Up late and to the desk. Worked all day. L home and made dinner. In the evening I took the drawers out of the filing cabinet  reenforced the screw and then glued and clamped the bottoms in place. Hung out the rest of the evening

20260119 - Up in the am and drove through a white-out to the Worthington office. CB didn't come in today and Cory and I went to Old Bag for lunch, had to have the French Onion soup! Finished the day and headed home. L&I settled in to watch the CFB National Championship in the basement and it was a great game. I went through all our hanging files while watching the game. Good to see Indiana win it for the first time ever.

20260118 + Up late and L&I watched the final 2hr long episode of Stranger Things together. We then put on football. We stayed indoors because it is FREEZING outside. J & JGF7 came over for lunch and then helped me put the carpet strip back in between the living and dining room. I got the garage door programed so Amazon can get in again. Replaced the screws on G's license plate. Called Dolce and Uncle Roger to coordinate the 2026 Maple Syrup Day @ the Farm. Watched NFL with L until bed.

20260117 - Up LATE and L&I watched some NLF. In the evening Chris Pettit and I went to see The Lord of the Rings Twin Towers 20th anniversary edition at the theater.

20260114 - L Headed to Steph's dad, John Orecchio's funeral right after work today. Tommy took me to bingo and we had 22 folks there tonight.  Protection order on the crazy neighbors ended today. Hard to believe that was 5 years ago...

20260113 - Up early and L to work and Hazel and I headed to the vet to get her checked in to get her lump removed. I left the poor shaking baby there 🙁 Home and the carpet guy showed up and got to work and I got tot he desk. J came home in the middle of the install. Carpet guy got done in short order and it looks really good. Picked Hazel up about 3 and took her through Wendy's on the way home. She ate her treat and was pretty drugged up and just slept on the office floor while I finished the day. L home and we decided not to go to Steph's dad's calling hours and stay home and take care of Hazel.

20260112 - Up in the am and in to the Worthington office for the day. Had lunch with CB and Cory at Old Bag and then back tot he office for a busy but SLOW afternoon. Home and threw the ball to Hazel and bit. L made us dinner and we watched the news. We then got all but one chair out of the living room in prep for the carpet tomorrow. I headed to visit with Doc for a bit and take him a chocolate bar. On to Bible Bangers, Scott S and SDJ were there, good conversations. Home and watched the Steelers game with L.

20260111 - Up in the am and it is freezing outside, one of those days when you really don't want to do anything... G's buddies came to pick him up and he headed back to school. L&I watched some episodes of Stranger Things. In the afternoon Hazel and I bundled up to take our walk and I noticed all of Hazel's tags were missing... I asked L about it and she said well yesterday when we went our walk Hazel somehow pulled away from the leash (this means the lease was attached to the tiny ring that holds the tags on, not her collar. L tried to explain to me where this happened so I could look for the tags... I convinced her to go to the location where she knew this happened rather than me spending the rest of the day trying to figure it out. She found all 3 of Hazel's tags in just a couple min. Got Hazel tagged back up and got our walk in ***COLD*** L made some dinner and we watched some football and hung out, I got some things done on PC.

20260110 - Up at 2PM! L had taken Hazel on a walk and had almost the whole day to herself. I got around and before we knew it we headed downtown for the home opener of the Columbus Fury women's pro volleyball game. We stopped at Warios for dinner, which was a great idea because their cheesesteaks are the best in the Midwest, but not such a good idea because they don't have any seating and we had to stand and eat... To the game and it was a good time. Home and not up as late as last night...

20260109 - Up in the am and to the desk for a day full of calls. In the afternoon I ran to Labcorp to get blood drawn for Dr appointment next week. Home and L made some dinner and we settled in to watch the Semifinal at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl where Indiana beat the crap out of my Ducks! I was working on invoice validation and just kept going until i was done at 7am.

20260108 - Up in the am took a work call at home before heading in to the office. headed in to the Worthington office for the day. Had lunch with the team and got a lot done today. Got the trash taken out of the building late in the afternoon, locked myself out, Chaff had to let me back in. Packed up and headed home. L&I watched the Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bow, it was a really good game.

20260107 - Up in the am and on the phone for 2.5 hours... Got nothing done... Got rolling and then took a break to take hazel to the vet, poor girl shook like a leaf. All good, getting quote to take tumor thing off her back. Home and finished the day. L home and told me her friend Staph's dad died last night... That poor girl can't catch a break. I finished my day and G&I headed to bingo. We had 19 at our table tonight and it was packed full. The Queen of Hearts is up to $25k and when Jason pulled the number he said 'If you have a 12 put your hand up' bunch of people put their hands up. Then he said 'If your initials are MW leave your hands up." The place started going crazy as i left my hand up. Then he said, "If your name is Matt Winger, put your hand down." Everyone lost it laughing, there was a Mike W that won, but he picked number 12 and it was the jack of clubs so next week's pot is $28,590. I stayed a sang a bit. Walked home, not too late.

20260106 - Up in the am and to the desk, had to lock some folks out this morning. On calls and getting things done. G's friends Trent and Michael here. Hazel and I took a chilly walk. L home and we got ready for a night out. We headed downtown and met Rich and Nicole at the Ringside Cafe, the oldest restaurant in Columbus for some tasty burgers. We then walked across the capital lawn to get to the Ohio Theater to see Back to the Future the musical. Our seats were a bit high, but it was a good show. The special affect they did with the car were amazing! It was a very nice evening.

20260105 - Up in the am and stopped at the BMV to get paper titles to the cars, but they don't do it at the Gahanna location anymore... In to the Worthington office for the day, had lunch at Old Bag with CB & Cory. Back to the desk for the res of the afternoon. Home and had dinner with LJG, Trent and Michael. L&I hung out and watched the news. I headed to Bible Bangers and stopped to get lotto tickets. Home and L&I packed up Hanks cage and him and ran him home. Home and watched TV until D & DGF13 called from the airport, picked them up and dropped them off. Up late watching TV.

20260104 - Up late and got old clothes on and headed to the basement to work on the squeaking dryers, L in to her classroom to get it ready for tomorrow. I tore both dryers down and worked on them, had to sand and grease the idler wheels, now they are quiet again. L home and we hung out watching football, J & JGF7 over for dinner and a nice chat. Up late couldn't sleep.

20260103 - Messy

20260103 - Up around 11 and got around. L and I headed out for some errands. Dropped some stuff off at Goodwill and then to Home Depot. After much to and fro L decide what carpet she wanted she wanted for the living room, last time she had to make this choice was 23 years ago… on to Giant Eagle where we got some groceries. Home and unpacked and I spent the next several hours experimenting with deep frying Cod and Shrimp. I will say it took much more effort than anticipated and a much bigger mess… but the shrimp was great, fish was ok. Next time I will do one or the other, not attempting to do both at the same time. Maybe too messy to ever do again… will give it one more try eventually. In and watching football and the dogs make a mess of the living room. Up late, couldn't sleep, too much grease in my system.

20260102 - Up super late, like 1:30pm... Got some things organized and watched a movie with L. Hazel and I ran to the gas station, mostly to give her a break from Hany-boy. Home and hung out a bit. Worried about Jack today, he didn't go tot work and drove to Lake Erie and then disappeared in Mt Gilead for a couple hours. L out to eat with her girlfriends. J showed up at home. I had leftovers with the dogs watchin football and getting things done.
