20220730 - Hazel Attacked!
20220730 - Up late and L&I watched some more of Married At First Sight. We got around and loaded hazel up and took an adventure up to Alum Creek Dog park. We went in to the big dog area first and Hazel ran around a bit and chatted with the other dogs. We then took her down to the water park and put her ball right at the edge of the surf, she had never been around water like this and barked at the waves and was afraid to get in at first. We gradually threw the ball out further and further and she went in after it and then played in the water a bit. Then some dumbass let their golden retriever off his leash and he ran straight for hazel and attacked her in the water! She came out squealing and frightened and the dog was still after her! We got them separated and the lady said oh sorry he hasn't been around other dogs for a long time, and then the dog attacked 3 other dogs before she got him on a leash! WTF?! As if that wasn't bad enough, during the attack hazels favorite red ball sunk in the water... We walked her up to the bathroom and sprayed her off and headed home. So much for a fun day for hazel.. home and L gave her a bath and then she started limping, not putting any weight on her one back leg at all... I looked around and found the puncture wound, we shaved her and got some antibiotic cream on it and she was pretty still the rest of the night.

20220729 - Sent a bunch of texts to people reminding them to buy lotto tickets for the $1.3B jackpot tonight. Hazel and I walked down to the drive thru and got our tickets. G drove D&I to his baseball tryout in Olentangy berlin. D&I talked to folks during the tryout and Jim Long and his family were there. It was great to catch up with them. After the tryout Taylor went with us to Waffle House, but the cooks we like weren't there so we walked over to Chipotle for dinner. D drove G's car home, liked it, and we dropped Taylor off on the way. Home and hung out on the back porch with Gma&paB. Everyone headed out and to bed and L took me in to the garage and showed me that G had broken the hood ornament off of my E550... G was fearful for his life all day... I ordered a new fancier one and went to bed.
20220728 - Sound of Music
20220728 - Up in the am got to the desk. J took off to the lake with JGF6 this morning. After work L&I got something to eat and then headed to Westerville where we met up with Gma&paB and the Coles for an outdoor play of the Sound of Music. The weather was perfect and the show was AMAZING!

20220726 - Jack went to the dentist today. G drove me to his tryouts up at Olentangy Berlin. Not a lot of kids there, not sure where all the superstars that were promised are... Taylor and Andrew went home with us and we stopped at Waffle House for dinner. Owen and his parents stopped and ate with us. We had a good meal and lots of baseball talk. I drove home and dropped off the boys on our way.

20220721 - Up in the am and took the E550 to A-1 Body and Frame to have the paint looked at. The guy said we didn't do a bad job, but if we want it perfect he could redo it for $1500. Back home and to the desk. I got my stuff done and then hazel and I walked down to Creekside for a Paws in the Plaza event. Hazel got to hang out with other local pups and I had a beer. Took hazel down to the water and she walked around a bit, but i had a short leash on her so she couldn't explore much.

20220720 - Up in the am and got J up so he could get to work. I got around and checked in with G before heading to a Worthington for the day. At the desk getting things done all day. G called, he can’t find his check card… finished up and headed home. Threw the ball to Hazel a bit and then headed to the garage to rip the Benz apart. J got home from work and he and JGF6 headed out thrifting and to pick up dinner. I had the entire dash of the Benz dismantled, glovebox on the garage floor, wires hanging everywhere. G got home from golfing with friends and headed upstairs. J&JGF6 back with Cane’s for dinner, just as I put the last screws back in and I now have CarPlay in the Benz! We ate on the porch and headed in. G cleaned out the dishwasher and I settled in to watch a movie for the night.
