20200229 - D for Dinner

20200229 - Up in the am and did just a little in the office. Spent some time organizing the day. D showed up for a visit about midday and then Tom over and we evaluated the last spot on the 7th grade team. We finally cam up with a decision and sent out 2 emails, 1 to all those that made it and 1 to all those that didn't. We only had 1 of those that got cut ask why. L ran G to a bday party and Tom headed out, D ran J to work. When L got home LD&I ran to El Vaquero for dinner. It was a good dinner and nice conversation with D. We swung through the gas station on the way home. Home and D went over to a friends, L&I watched some TV until I had to pick J up at work. Home and to bed.

20200228 - Backbone

20200228 - Up in the am slow, G home sick again today. Headed in to work and then out to meet with some customers and take a tour of their site. The sire was awesome! So may wires and fiber and routers and switches, it is a, well I am really not allowed to talk about it... So it was COOL. After the tour we went to lunch with the guys from the site. Back to the office and finished off the day by getting ready for next week. Home and G still down. I headed to the school for the last night of tryouts. I put all of the boys in alphabetical order so I could take notes easier. It was the last tryout and the boys all did pretty good and they felt like a team. Home and updated the spreadsheet until late.

20200227 + Shattered

20200227 + Up in the am, G home sick from school. I headed in to the office and found my new glass whiteboard was installed and then uninstalled because it shattered as the last screw was being put in...  Extremely busy and productive day. Headed home with no plans for this evening. Got home and J had cleaned his car out and G was still resting. L made dinner for us and we all ate together. I spent the rest of the evening with laptop in hand getting caught up on Booster stuff.

20200226 + Second Try

20200226 + Up in the am and in to work. Had a busy day. Home and had dinner with LJ&G .After a short break G&I headed to his 7th grade baseball tryouts. Still had a ton of kids show up and it was a good night. Home and watched some TV with L as I collated the tryout info.

20200225 - Tryout

20200225 - Up in the am and headed in to work. Had a meeting with the finance girls first thing. Got a couple of things organized and then had my 11 o'clock IT meeting. Good meeting and busy rest of day. Pushing forward on many different fronts. Home and had dinner with LJ&G. After a short break G&I headed to the first night of 7th grade baseball tryouts. They started out a bit slow but got better. The variances in skill levels was obvious. Home and relaxed. An exhausting day.

20200224 + Ordering

20200224 + Up in the am and J&G home from school for whatever imaginary reason... Spoke to J a bit and headed in late. Started in with an hour and a half call and then in to the conference room for a meeting on payroll process so the girl that is pregnant can have some time off when her baby comes. Had various meeting throughout the day and headed home on time. Home and J at work, LG&I had left overs for dinner and then G&I headed to Scouts. I taught a lesson on citizenship for the boys that needed it. After Scouts G&I went to the post office and then swung in to Wendy's to pick up a snack. Home and watch TV with L.

20200223 - McClain Championship

20200223 - Up in the am and Bill picked Brady up. J home and cleaned his room, G got a haircut and L cleaning everything she can see. I got a couple things done in the office. J took off to a buddy's, G painted a wooden bat he got yesterday at the auction house. L&I relaxed a bit watching TV. Tom over to do some baseball stuff. Tom, Landon, G&I headed across town to meet up with the McClains to watch Brady play in a championship basketball game. It was a crazy game and Brady's team won. Home to drop off Tom and Landon and then G&I ran to pick up Chinese for dinner. Home and ate and watched some American Idol until the guys showed up and we headed to the basement to watch the Walking Dead.

20200222 - Skinny Friend

20200222 - Up in the am and had bfast with L&G. Brady showed up and the boys went right upstairs to get on the Xboxes. I headed in to the office to get some things done. G&B took a scooter ride downtown to get a snack at Wendy's. When the boys got home we all went to the Gahanna Basketball tournament game. Gahanna won by 3x the other teams score, but they are amazing to watch. After the game I fixed the cheese machine in the concession stand and got a free pizza as a reward. We drove to Reynoldsburg and picked up some auction wins, the life size skeleton my favorite! home and dropped the boys off and L&I ran and got me some new tennis shoes and went to the Home depot to look at bathroom stuff. Home for a bit and then L&I went out for a nice dinner with the Mallonns. Home and we made the boys get off electronics and watched 'Playing with Fire' I waited up for J and he told me about his bathroom cleaning adventure at work tonight YUK!

20200221 - Unexpected Firing

20200221 - Up in the am and in to the office. I had my team waiting for me in the big conference room and let them have it for getting blindsided on the way out the door yesterday. They took off and got on the task I gave them for the day. I had a 1on1 with one of the guys and his reaction was not good... I dug into my tasks and got it rolling. Day was pretty fast, the guys got the big problem solved and the guy I had a 1on1 with T had to fire. So pretty stressful day... Got myself home and relaxed a bit. LG&I ran to Arby's for dinner and then home and G up on the Xbox and L&I Watched JOJO Rabbit.

20200220 - Basketball Banquet

20200220 - Up in the am and in to work. Had a unexpected long but good meeting with the IT team on organizing us and moving forward with some really good plans. Finished the day and headed home. I was stopped on the way out of the office by a couple managers that blindsided me with issues that were still open that I thought were closed... Headed home and had dinner with L&G, J at Wendy's working. After dinner LG&I headed to G's school for his basketball banquet. Everyone brought desserts so we ate and then the coach gave a nice speech and said nice things about all the boys. He had some really nice things to say about G and said he was in the top 3 scorers for the team :-o  Home and hung out the rest of the evening doing things on the PC with the TV on. J eventually got home and we chatted about the text I got from a teacher and his grades. we watched some TV as he ate his bag of food he brought home. I stayed up till 2 getting caught up.

20200219 - Plan

20200219 - Up in the am and slow to get in to the office. Started the day with meeting, interview, meeting. Helped the team come up with a plan for a new software to establish a true 5G network in Columbus OH.

20200218 - Back to Boosters

20200218 - Up early and dropped G off for a Bible study at school on the way to work.  Got to work and realized I left my badge at home. Got in to the building and got started. Had a full day of denying things to folks :-)  Headed home, sat for a min and then had a quick dinner with LJ&G. I headed out to the high school for a Booster meeting. Everyone was glad to see me back. We got a lot done but I was wore out.  Home and sat for a min with LJG watching TV and then headed in to the office and worked on Taxes until 1am.
