20210930 + Flashy

20210930 + Up late, had a rough coughing night. LJ&G at school. We got calls from the school because J&G were late. I got up got myself around and jumped on a call. At the desk for the day. Did some touch up mudding and caulking between tasks. After work I had to go fix the mower, a spring on the end of a cable broke. I had a spring and made it work. J was busy cleaning his room so I mowed and had to put the belt back on about 10 times. L ran G to a XC dinner. I finished caulking the tub and L&I ran to Home Depot to return stuff we didn’t use and get some final touches. We dropped off the trim router I borrowed from the Varney’s and checked out their Senior Night stuff they are doing for Donovan and their new floors. On to pick G up and swing through Wendy’s to pick up dinner. Home and watched the Bengals game, D is there and sending us pics. 

20210929 - Buttoning Up

20210929 - Up in the am and LJ&G at school. I jumped on a call that went for hours. I finished my day and headed to the baseball field for a parent only meeting. The coaches asked where G has been during the open fields. Saw lots folks there I knew. Home and L has everything painted and I installed the lights and outlets. Hazel and I cleaned up the garage and pulled the car in. Headed to bed and started couching…

20210928 - Reflection

20210928 - L & Hazel ran G to MSE for a XC event. L home and got the grout done around the shower and window while I got the mirror hung, trim on top of the wainscot on the N&E. I got the holes cut for lights and outlets and the toilet installed!

20210927 - Every Pipe

20210927 - Up and a busy Monday. In the evening L&I got the sink put together and installed in the bathroom. I took me hours and every pipe I had to get it installed and plumbed in. Hazel was a big help...

20210926 - Pick Up Game

20210926 - Up and did a bit in the bathroom. Chris Bowman picked G up and took him to fill in for a baseball game. L, Hazel and I got to a stopping point and went and watched G play a bit. Home and L&I ran to CVS to get cough stuff for me and readers for her. On to Home Depot to get some paint and plumbing supplies. Home and we got the wainscot put in. I did a couple more things in the bathroom and we grilled dinner. Ate, cleaned up the garage, did some stuff on the PC.

20210925 - Homecoming Secrets Out!

20210925 - Up late and working on the bathroom all day. GmaB and Nicole over to take pics of J&G for homecoming. I took G to Creekside to meet up with his friends for Homecoming pics, had him jump out and he was on his own. Home and worked on bathroom more. 

L home, helped a bit and then we ran over to McClain's to watch Buckeye's game with them and they had some neighbors over. Tiff spilled the beans on J&I's Vegas secret...  L was wasn't too upset about the tattoos... Home and watched some more football. J&G out having a blast, spent the night at friends

So the only things j wanted for his 18th bday was a tattoo... So while in Vegas we checked out a couple places and then he chose one. He wanted a great big 12 legged spider with an eye that he drew for his. And he wanted it on his waist band climbing up his side. I warned him when he got a certain age the legs would start to bend and look funny. He claimed I was dumb and off we went. We got to the tattoo parlor and the guy said I've never done a 12 legged spider before. When jack described where he wanted it the guy said 'Dude, when you get older and put on some weight those legs are going to bend and look goofy'. I clapped in the background and then J decided to get the tattoo lower on his hip :-) While J was getting his the guy talked to me and asked if I was getting one. I pulled up an ambigram and he gave me a low price and I just did it... So J&I got inked for the first time together.

20210924 - Sunset Supplies

20210924 - Up and worked. D stopped by, got groceries with G, took him to apt to see it and back home. D drove LG&I to 5 Guys for dinner and then Home Depot to get supplies for the bathroom. Home and L&I finished installing tile around the shower and window. Up until 5:30 am building an app for work...

20210923 + Window Worker

20210923 + Up and worked in the bathroom. I needed a special tool so hit up some friends to see if they had a 1/4" trim router. Bill Varney did and he and Maria dropped it off and stayed and chatted for a bit. Maria just got a BIG promotion! I used Bill's tool and L got tile around the window done.

20210922 - Fixed and Sanded

20210922 - Worked. Fixed J's headlight wiring and sanded bathroom.

20210921 - More Mud

20210921 - Up in the am and J&G at school and L home with her shingles again today. I got rolling and had a call. Hazel and I took a short walk. J got home and I ran to pick up taxes. Back to the office and I got busy on an unplanned frustrating day. Got in the bathroom and mudded some more.

20210920 - Blooming

20210920 - Up in the am and J&G at school. I hung out and did my morning stuff in the living room with L & Hazel. I moved in to the office and got things rolling. Hazel and I took a mid day break and walked to the end of the road and back. J home and mowed the yard. I had to run and pick G up from XC as the coach asked him to take it easy today. Home and finished my day and threw the ball to hazel for a bit. J took off and G came down and joined L&I for dinner. After dinner I put another coat of mud in the bathroom and then cleaned up. L&I chilled out the rest of the night watching fixer-upper shows.

20210919 - shingLes

20210919 - Up in the am and L headed to her Dr. appointment where she got the confirmation that she has shingles... I ran G to a meet the coach event in Westerville. We swung by Home Depot on the way home to get more supplies for the bathroom. Home and L ran a couple of errands and I did some planning for the bathroom. L home and I ran to a bday party for a coworker over on sawmill for a bit. Home and I did the electrical prep work in the bathroom and then got the rest of the drywall hung and a first coat of mud on it. Done working for the day we had some dinner and then L&I hung out watching TV for the rest of the evening.
