20140311 + 5 Bs

20140311 + Work home basketball with boys board of review. Bed in good time.

20140310 - Up in the am and to work. Was cold all day. At 4pm there was a baseball debacle with a last minute change in schedule... Home, L had taken D to field, I grabbed a quick sandwich and headed to the field to help with practice. The boys practiced hitting and it was a good practice. After Practice D&I headed to church. I dropped D off with the Boy Scouts and I went down to relieve L&G and joined J's Den Meeting. The boys got to make stuff out of clay and they loved it. Up to check in with the Boy Scouts and then home and all boys to bed. I could not sleep so updating calendars.

20140309 - Shoot-n-Sleep

20140309 - Up in the am and all to church. Home and D&G played in the playroom while L got lunch readyWe had lunch and everyone got a list of what they had to get done today. I headed into the office for a bit while homework and painting got done. Then I headed out to a rec-ball coaches meeting. Good meeting, saw a bunch of guys I knew including Big Head. Swung by to get a hair cut and make a couple deposits on the way home. Got home and D was posting on eBay, J&G were at the playground and L was working on a school project. Dave called to catch up and I called Leonard to discuss this years maple syrup flow. Little boys home, J doing magic tricks, D still posting, G was silent... I went looking for him and found him asleep on the playroom floor with his thumb and blankies :-)

Cousin Jen stopped over to trade DVDs and have a nice chat. We had leftovers for dinner and when Doc got home D&I went over to fix his garage door, unstick and reset his garbage disposal and rewrire a switch and outlet in his kitchen. Home and the Pettit boys over to watch the Walking Dead. Packed up tonight's eBay sales and a round of Scrabble with Marko. All the makings of winding up a great weekend.

20140308 + Racing and Scrubs

20140308 + Up and DJG&I to gas station to get a 9volt battery to power the rocket car and then to McD's for some breakfast. Off to the Pinewood Derby races and J&G had a couple of the slowest cars there... I just don't get it. I follow all the rules, know all the tricks, and do the same thing every other person does to the cars and we can't win... Cars that come from our garage always finish in the top, but not ours }:-S Then looking around I realize my kids made their cars. Sure I helped put on the wheels and weights, but everything else they do, even G at 7 years old designed, cut out and painted his own car, same with J. So I'm proud of them that the cars truly are theirs... Enough said... On to look at a batting cage with John, then G&I to pick up D from baseball and ran into the Jew. We tried to get me a haircut but there were 6,729 people already waiting so we got the car washed. Getting the car washed with G is an absolute hilarity. When the big spinning things or the blowers are next to his window I put his window down and he screams like crazy. Oh the damage I am doing to this poor boy. Some therapist is going to make a lot of money off him in the future...

Home and J&G back to the park, D doing homework. L still working on the bathroom, I got things ready to ship for ebay and cleaned out the garage a bit. One of my Scouts stopped by with his dad to pick up some electronics equipment we were getting rid of, he likes to take things apart. Then one of D's friends stopped over so we could take him to the game. I chatted with his dad a bit as I cleaned. off to D's basketball game and he did really good, but they lost. it was their last game. We stayed for part of the next game and then bailed out to get some dinner at Massey Pizza for dinner. Home and D&I finished cleaning out the garage. I got cleaned up and we all headed down to watch Catching Fire.

20140307 - Dropped

20140307 - Work, mex fri, home, L had J&G at J's game, J got a bloody nose :-o they lost. D&I to his practice, then D off to another high school :-o baseball clinic. L took J&G to test out their cars and get ice cream she, she dropped her cone on the ground :-( Home and J&G already in bed, L painting the bathroom. I worked on J&G's cars and got the rocket car working. D home, had a good clinic. Up late in the basement planning the crazy weekend...

20140306 + Video Games with Lil Boys

20140306 + Work, Home, scant dinner pickins, got some things done in the office and played Halo with J&G while D was at basketball. L watching her shows, I got some more baseball stuff done.

20140305 - Tuned

20140305 - Work, J had friend over and had a piano lesson, finally got a music book. Stopped on the way home for a Landscape Board meeting. Home ate and wrestled with the boys. L&I worked in living room watching American Idol, D in the basement playing his game. J&G roughhousing upstairs, sounds like the ceiling is going to fall down. Got boys to bed picked up doc met Bible guys at McDs. Home awake in bed.

20140304 - Cuttin Up

20140304 - Up and in to work. J got his braces off and his teeth look great. Home and ate. Then I crashed on the couch with L&D. Before we knew it the Cub Scouts were over to finish their cars and make Mother's Day gifts. Helped G finish up his car. Exhausted but up late updating GJLS website.

20140303 - GmaW Milking Cows

20140303 - Up and in to work. Home for a quick change and off to first 8th grade Baseball practice. I got the boys sized for hats and shirts, talked to the parents. Home and Aunt Mary had sent a DVD. So we watched GmaW milking cows :-) Up late updating baseball info.

20140302 - Homework

20140302 - Up in the am and all to church. We picked J up on the way home from his friends house. Home for lunch and then G to a bday party. The rest of us worked on projects around the house. J went with me to get G and then we went to get some wood for an upcoming Webelos meeting, and a trip to the grocery store where we ran into one of D's teachers and had a nice chat. One last stop at the hobby store for pinewood derby decals and then home to work on the cars. J's car looks great and we have only 1 weight yet to attach. G painted his car and all we have to do is put the tires on. Finishing up things around the house and for the upcoming baseball meeting. Little boys to bed and the Pettits over to watch the Walking Dead. Bed in good time.

20140301 + G's Last Bounce

20140301 + Up in the am and to G's last game of the season. he did great and had a good time and got a trophy :-) Home for a minute and then to G's game, then on to D's game. Gma&paW down to see it all.
