20130712 - Double Feature

20130712 - Up and in to work.  I got to go out to the factory floor for an hour before getting sucked into meetings.  I had lunch with CG & Steven at a Mexican place that was awesome.  Finished day and headed home to get D.  LJ&G are at Gma&paB's so D&I went to dinner at BWs, met by Scott Holohan and his son Brenan, and then went to see 'Oblivion' and then 'Olympus Has Fallen'.  Home and packed an ebay sale for shipment.

20130711 - G in the All-Stars

20130711 - Up and n to work.  Very busy day and got a lot done.  Home and had dinner with the fam.  Rested a min before LD&I took G to the All-Star game.  The boys got called out and lined up on the baselines, just like the big leagues.  They played a great game and they all had a great time. These kids are all good and the plays were amazing for 6 year olds.  G's team won 17-5, but not one kid asked em the score during the game, they just had a blast!  Home and trying to wrap up a million things before vacation...

20130710 - Getting the Mustard

20130710 - Up and into work, calmer today.  Got a lot done.  L had a mammogram today.  More really bad storms...  Home picked up LD&G and headed to Kingston OH to pick up some Ben's Mustard for the OhiOOrigins.com website.  J called us and talked to everybody a couple of times, him and GmaB are on their own tonight and they lost power.  J is a bit homesick :-)  We got our mustard and had dinner at Rax with a view of a pumpkin shaped water tower and then headed home.  Home and shipped some mustard.  Up late getting things done.

20130709 + Scouting and Stolen

20130709 + Work, had 2 fires today and got home late.  Ate, played Stratego w/ G while D worked on Scout stuff.  Then L went shopping, DG&I went to a Scout Board of Review.  We got gas and doughnuts after the meeting. Home and L&I watched the movie 'Stolen'.

20130708 - Worked and took D to scout meeting.  Bible Bangers with the boys.

20130707 - G the Mechanic

20130707 - Up and all to Church.  Then we drove around alpaca farms and some garage sales.  Home and ate, D mowed and moved stump grindings.  G&I cut down little tree up front, and then worked on the white car seats.  DG&I took the car to get washed and new wiper blades.  Then D stayed home to play his game and G&I attempted to try riding a bike again...  no luck...  After much time spent on not trying to ride the bike we only had 15 min to swim; we did swim and had a great 15 min.  Home for dinner and then all to Rich & Nicole's to get their old slide.  We stopped for slushies at Sonic on the way home.  Home and G to bed, L watching a movie and D&I watched Falling Skies.

20130706 - Grave Championship

20130706 - Up and to Ray's cemetery restoration Eagle project w/ D.  G&I to get an some old appliances: popcorn, snow-cone machine, cotton candy spinner and pizza ovens.  We went to D's championship baseball game and I helped coach.  I pumped the boys up and ran'em like crazy.  THEY WON!!!  The opposing team tried to pull dbl header...  HUH!!!  Not having that trick, so everyone agreed on a split championship.  Gma&paW here for dinner and to see 'The Lone Ranger'.  D, Gma&paW &I went for a late night run and traded the old appliances for a Mercedes!!!  A fun, busy and stressful day!

20130705 + Finally Friday

20130705 + Up at desk in home office all day getting things cleaned up and done.  Out to eat with LD&G and picked up a movie on way home.  Got Lilly and went to music in the park for a bit.  Home watched a movie.

20130704 - 4th x 3

20130704 - Up and out with the J&G. We went to pick D up at his friends and then found a spot along the parade route. The Towlers and Clays sat with us and we watched our small town parade pass by and yelled to all our friends and Scouts as they marched by.


We headed home, picked up L and went to Delaware St Park to meet up with the Kraft side of the family. We played keep away did some chatting, fishing and eating.

We stayed until it rained buckets. J went home with Gma&paB and the rest of us headed home for some TV time. We had some dinner and then headed to New Albany to watch some fireworks.


We stopped for frosties on the way home and Kroger to get L mint chocolate chip ice cream.

20130703 + D's 1st Red White & Boom

20130703 + Up and to work. Super busy day. Stayed till 6 to finish up our bid proposal. Home and ate with L. D got picked up by a buddy and headed downtown for Red White & Boom. I played catch with G for a bit. My buddy Joe (aka Bighead) stopped by to borrow a drain snake. We chatted on the porch a bit, Joe showed G how to pitch and then we went across the street to chat with Doc. In and watched a show with the boys, then we watched Red White & Boom on TV. Boys to bed and L&I watched a movie.

20130702 - Phillies Push Past

20130702 - Up and to work. Another very hectic day for a short week. Home and changed and met the fam and Gma&paW at the ball field for D's semifinal game vs the Indians. I worked the book and the boys played great. D had some awesome plays at short and good hits. This is not a good week for the Indians... D's Phillies beat them tonight 18-1. On to game 1 of the championship round this Friday. We have to beat the Blue Jays twice to win... To Max & Erma's for dinner after the game and the J&I went with GpaW to look at a car we may get.

20130701 - Met win GJLS A-Minor Championship!!!

20130701 - Up an into work. It was a Monday for sure and could not go fast enough. I rushed home, changed and off to the ball field. There was quite an audience: Doc, Gma&paW, Uncle John & Aunt Mary, Lucia and Gma&paB. The Mets showed up tonight and played a spectacular game. G had some good hits, turned a double play that made the crowd on both teams cheer in amazement. He then caught a pop up for the last out of the season and clinch the championship victory over the Indians, 12-4. We headed to BWs for dinner. Coach John and I left the festivities early to go to the GJLS baseball board meeting. It was a good meeting and the future of the league is not in as bad of shape as I thought. Home late.
