20120313 + Creek, Ball and Ball

20120313 + Up and worked all day. Took a break to take a walk w/ J and Ed stopped by. More work...


Out of the office to warm D up with some catch, then baseball try outs. He went 1st in the second round of picks and got on a new team: not what we want but ok... Home D&I ate, L to Zumba, I took the boys to the playground. D&J played basketball while G and I played catch with a tennis ball. Every 3rd time he dropped it I got his guts :-) Home got boys cleaned up, L home and all boys to bed.

20120312 - Hope & 30 Years

20120312 -Up and to Childern's Hospital with J for a checkup.  They think he looks good :-)  We then hit Subway for lunch and dropped off G's kindergarten paper work at his school, the whole time J was crouched down hiding in the car so he wouldn't have to to go to school ;-)  Home and JG&I took a much needed nap.  I woke up and was the only one left in the bed :-o  It felt GOOD!
Up did a little paper work and out for dinner, then all to Boy Scouts for a surprise honor party for Mike Sheldon for being the Scoutmaster for 30 years.  He received a letter from the Mayor declaring today /Mike Sheldon Day' in Gahanna, many gifts and lots of great stories.  In Mike's 30 years he graduate 58 boys to Eagle Scout.  here are some of the Eagle Scouts with Mike. WOW!
 Home and boys to bed, off to Bible bangers.

20120311 - 65 & Surprise Attack

20120311 - Up and LJ&G to church. I was running slow and got gas and then met L @ Sunday School. After church we picked up D and headed to Necomerstown for GmaB's 65th bday! We had some cake and played a bit before we had to get home for a Cub Scout meeting.


Had the meeting and then home for a min. 


Then my buddy Dave down to catch up and watch the Walking Dead. As Dave came in he was greeted with a surprise attack from G (they have a long standing rivalry). There was a quick battle then all boys to bed. Chris came over we watched the Walking Dead. Then L Dave and I stayed up and caught up.

20120310 - Practice

20120310 - Up in am and L out to Zoomba. The boys and I hung out working in the shop on the rocket car and practicing swords. D over to a friends for bday party. Garage cleaned up and then dinner. I had guys over for a Mastermind Garage meeting.

20120309 - HOT Wheels

20120309 - Up and out with J: bfast @ MdD's, Bank, Gas, Home Depot, Grocery, Shipping store, Block Buster.  Home testing out rocket car.

L&G home for lunch.  L out shopping J&I trowing football, his friend Jayla stopped so JG&I went back to the playground to play for a bit.  Back home and I got J's pinewood car done (we may have a winner this year :-)

D home and then out to the playground.  I rallied the troops and the the boys and I went to see a very expen$ive movie at Easton, John Carter, great movie!  L to a jewelry party.  Home and to the basement where D&J fell asleep and G&I watched tv. L home, finishing up the night.

20120308 - iNight

20120308 - Up worked at desk all day.  Had a nice dinner with the fam.  Then up to the playroom for some wrestling, and iDevice night.  All boys to bed, I was up late working so I wouldn't have to work Friday.

20120307 - Hoops

20120307 -Up working.  All home and dinner together.  L out to Zoomba, the boys and I ran some errands.  Home and playing the Wii.  All boys cleaned up and to bed.  Up late working, trying to catch up.

20120306 + Must have been good...

20120306 -Work, did some training, got grant fixed him lunch, worked, voted with J, worked, helped D with his phone, played catch with J and got basketball hoop set up for G, D to playground.  Dinner, L to meeting, DJG&I to Easton to get D's phone looked at, its ok.  Walked around, candy, LEGO, Barnes and Noble.  home for ice cream.  All boys to bed, watched movie with L.  burned maple syrup/pot, set up grossl.me domain.

20120305 + Worked, ate, J&I cut out and shaped his pinewood derby car.  Soon the other boys from the Den started showing up and the shop was in full use.  The a boy yelled and blood...  he got his finger caught in the bite of the bandsaw :-o  We got the bleeding stopped and the rest of the event was accident free.  All Scouts gone, shop cleaned up, boys to bed, off to Bible Bangers < Check out our new site!

20120304 - Lights Cameras...

20120304 - Up and to church with L&J. D came with Nicole and met us there. We had more 'Marriage Class' in Sunday school... Home and L&J went to pick up G. D&I stayed home; homework, finish tool table, install cam in playroom. I lost my help when I took D and the neighbor boy to a church youth event, but I had everything done an cleaned up by the time LJ&G got home. A quick trip get D and then all boys cleaned up and to bed. Up watching Walking Dead, planning the busy week...

20120303 - Just Us

20120303 - Up in the am and D&I out to the bank, some bfast at McD's and then Home Depot. Home for a few before getting rid of the kids. We dropped of D&J at Nicole's and then headed to Newark to meet Gma&paB for lunch and hand G off. On to Buckeye lake for 'Marriage Class'...

So we get there with three other couples and the hosts and class begins. We had to all talk about all sorts of feelings... With other couples and each other... But it was really good and we got to say things that in the course of everyday life we tend not to say or acknowledge about the person we chose to spend our lives with. It was a really fun group and we enjoyed it a lot. The very last exercise we had to do was explain to our spouse thing we recognize that they do, to let us know they love us. L&I went last and the feedback we got was really cool; several people pointed out that up until then they didn't 'get us' as a couple (one nut job and one very caring, nice and pretty girl), but after hearing the things we said to each other and seeing how we interact, they 'got us'. So did I, 18years ago when I picked the perfect girl :-)

Today, I liked best, just having the day to ourselves, focused on just us.

20120302 + New Game

20120302 + Up working, Took Chris to airport and ran a couple errands on way home. Home and Ed here, but no real progress made. Finishing my work day. Loaded the fam up and out to eat. A bit rushed tonight as we had to get L home for her first Zoomba class... The boys and I hung out, and the cousin Jenifer stopped over with a new gave Dixit to teach to us. It was fun and the boys really liked it. L got home dripping wet and already sore. All boys to bed and L&I watched Ancient Aliens and Spartacus.

20120301 - non-March Band

20120301 - Worked all day had a late call... Jack gave a report/speech on Amelia Erhart in school toady.





We had dinner and then rushed out to D's Band Concert. There were lots of people there we knew and this one way a bit better then the first band concert... Home and the usual to bed routine.

Then I COULD NOT SLEEP...
