20260411 - Up early and L drove us to the Farm. We got our stuff unloaded, got the hot dogs cooking and I headed outside to check on Roger and Brad at the boiling pot. No Dale this year. Things went well and folks started showing up. We had 97 people attend today, lots of first timers, family and friends. It was good to catch up with folks, the place looks great and the weather was amazing. Everyone had a good time and loved checking out the Farmhouse, learning about the syrup making, hiking to the falls and just relaxing and chatting. Things wound down and we got things cleaned up like pros. The scouts were here for the first time in 6 years and they helped too. Everything cleaned up and Mark and Bea headed home with L&I. D, DFG13 and Hank were at our house when we got home playing with Hazel. We chatted on the back porch for a bit and then headed out for a nice dinner. Home and chatted about our kids and lives, very nice visit and great to see them.
