20251008 + Up in the am and to the desk, J came down and put some stuff in the crock-pot. hazel and I took a walk and L got home. I finished up my work and got ready and then we headed to downtown Columbus through the crappy rush hour traffic to park across from the Southern Theater. We walked to Dempsey's, a little bar and grill a block away and had a nice dinner. We then walked to the theater to see 'Jimmy Carr: Laughs Funny' show. Jimmy Carr is a edgy comedian and thought it was a riot, a little too edgy for L... Home and G was home from school, so we checked in with him and then watched some TV in bed.

20251004 - Up early and L&I headed to Cincinnati for family weekend. I dropped L off at G's dorm and then parked the car. I hiked about a mile to find them in a sea of people on the commons. G showed us some of his classrooms and spots he knows around campus. We headed to our seats at the game and were really close. It was a GREAT game and the officiating was the worst I have ever seen. Somehow the Bearcats pulled off a win against Iowa #14 in the country and after the game the fans stormed the field. L wouldn't go, but i took the chance and ran out and hugged some players and was part of the madness for a bit. Back to our seats and then G came up off the field and we walked to a local bar to meet up with some other Gahanna folks. They were taking to long so I found us a diner close and we headed there. The Park Diner had great food and was a cute little place in an artsy part of town. I got a parking ticket, but I did pay, so I will have to fight that... We dropped G back off at his dorm and headed home. We caught the beginning of the OSU game while driving and got home to watch the rest of it on the porch and throw the ball to Hazel a bit. LONG FUN DAY!

20251003 - Had an appointment to get the trigger finger looked at on my left middle finger. Dr. said yep a shot is not going to fix this... Scheduled surgery for Monday! L home, she went to the Dr. for the mystery rash on the back of her leg today.

20251002 - Up in the am and Bill and Tiff picked L&I up and we headed to Cleveland for the Indians playoff game vs the Detroit Tigers.

20251001 + L&I went to Three Creeks, a new fancy restaurant in Gahanna, for our 31st wedding anniversary. It is in a strip mall next to the Chinese place we go but it was very nice inside and the food was AMAZING!

20250930 - Up in the am and ran to LabCorp for bloodwork for next week's appointment. Home and on the PC getting things done. Ran 3 new legs of electric in the garage for the OSU Party

20250929 - Up in the am and to the sign shop to pick up the prints for my special project, they look AWESOME! Headed to the Worthington office and got the day rolling. CB showed up and Cory & I joined him for lunch at Old Bag. After lunch I walked to a couple stores looking for anniversary gifts for L. Back to the desk and got a bunch done. Headed home at the end of the day and then L&I got the trash out of the house and I got an old mattress wrapped in plastic to set out for trash. L cooked up the rest of the shrimp with some mushrooms, pasta and white sauce, yummy! We watched the news, went up and put the closet door back on in the room over the garage, and the playroom cleaned up a bit. I then loaded up the car and headed to drop stuff off at Goodwill on the way to Bible Bangers. Had a small crowd tonight but good discussion. Home with fries for L and Hazel and watched some football and threw the ball until bed time.
