20250725 + Up in the am LG&I ran to a hotel to pick up another player and then meet a bunch of the baseball families at the beach. It was a nice set up and we rented a bunch of umbrellas and chairs and we all got to hang out. The had a cafe and bar close and it was a lot of fun. The water was perfect and it was nice to get the boys out of their rooms, off their devices and having fun in the water. A nice relaxing time. Headed back to the hotel to rinse the sand and salt off before heading to G's game. On the way to the game the skies opened up and thunder and lightening rolled and the game was delayed to an 8pm start. We hung out at the hotel a bit to stay cool and when we got back to the field for the game it was int he 80s and lovely! Our boys played hard and won 18-1 in only 3 innings! Everyone pretty tired from a long day so nobody really did anything that night but hang out in the lobby and chat.

20250724

20250724 + Up in the am and L&I headed to Coquina beach close to the hotel. It was pretty deserted and we set up and enjoyed the Gulf of America! The water was lovely, nice breeze and I got a palm branch and dug a chair into the side of the beach and baked. We were there a couple of hours and then headed back to the room. G still in the room, all the boys were, they can't organize anything... I ran G to the field and dropped him off and then back to the hotel to rinse off the salt and sand. L&I headed to the field and met us with cousin Jennifer, she came up to watch G play. G wasn't playing, he was DH... But then he got put in at 3rd and ended the game pitching and did real well and got the save. After the game all the families met at the Island Times Bar and Grill and we had a nice meal. Afterwards we went across the street to the Moose with Bill and Tiff to watch the sunset from their deck and had a bagpipe serenade as the sun went down. From there folks split off, L&I went back to Clancy's from the first night and settled in for some karaoke. The first couple singers were REALLY GOOD and L was like 'oh you can't sing here' :-) But I did and 2 other baseball families showed up and we sang until midnight. Back to the hotel and got G in the room about 2am.

20250723

20250723 - Up in the am and D came over to the LG&I to the airport. We got through security and met up with the McClains for the flight. Made it to Sarasota in no time, got our bags, car and found the hotel and settled in. Met up with Tom at the Walmart across the street while getting supplies and then we all met back up with the McClains at Clancy's Irish Pub where we had AMAZING ruben egg rolls and french dip for dinner. PLUS they had BINGO so we all got to play bingo tonight! After dinner and bingo we headed to the 88 Piano bar where we watched some live music and the girls danced. It was a fun night.

20250722

20250722 - Up in the am and L took Hazel on a walk and mowed and I got to the desk, got things rolling and got my things laid out for the trip. I took a break and Hazel and I went to pick up prescription for L's poison ivy and then to the pet store and got her some food and a new chicken toy. Home and I finished out my day and then ran to see Doc and let him know we were going out of town. Then hit the gym for a bit and to add to my tan so hopefully I won't burn in FL... Home and everything packed and ready to go.

20250721

20250721 - Up in the am and ran J to drop his car off at Mercedes to get the recall fixed. Back home and to the desk getting things done fast so I can relax this week in FL. G was up early got some things listed on ebay and then GF6 showed up for the day. L ran out to Marlene's to hang out with the girls in the pool. When I got to a stopping point for lunch I mad a sandwich and headed to back porch to eat with Hazel and throw her ball a bit. D showed up and J shortly after with a GIANT truck full of stuff. DJ&G unloaded everything and the house is packed! After work I headed to the back porch where I hung out the rest of the night. Couple of the Bible Banger guys stopped over, too nice of a night to be inside a McD's. In and to bed.

20250720 - Up in the am and L&I headed to Lewis Center to watch G's baseball game. They lost and baseball over for the day. We headed to Buffalo Wild Wings with Bill and Tom for a late lunch. Home and raining a bit, sitting on back porch with Hank and Hazel get prepared for next week. In and hanging out. D back from MI and Hank so happy to see him. L&I headed to Meijer to get some vacation supplies. Home, ate, watched the news and then watched Heretic movie, pretty scary. J home late, G staying at Trent's.

20250719 + Up in the am and G&I fixed the futon. L&I then headed to Delaware for a Kraft family picnic. It was good to see everyone and get caught up. Home for bit to let the dogs out and swim in thier pools to cool down. L&I then headed downtown to the Short Nort Stage to see Waitress. It was a super cute show, so good. We stopped by at the local Moose Lodge on the way home to meet up with Bill & Tiff and I ran in to a couple old scout leaders there. Home late from a busy fun day.

20250718 - Up late and to the desk. Got all my stuff done and then L&I headed to the Laurels, a rest home in Gahanna, to check in on Doc. He was sitting in the activity room all curled up. I took him a Hershey bar and enjoyed it and our visit. On to Lewis Center for G's double header. We met some parents from the teams at the brewery before the game and hung out a bit. G came in and closed out the first game and held on for a tie in thee second game.

20250717 - Up late and in to the office so Cory and I could go to a lunch meeting with some insurance folks. Back to the desk and finished the day. Home and got J and we went to pick his car up, $1,607 to fix the front driveshaft... I stopped and got gas on the way home. When I got home J was concerned with a sound his car was making, the driveshaft that broke free smashed into the catalytic converter and damaged it a bit... He also has a clanging noise that the guys at the shop told him should be fixed by a recall. J hung out a while and we all had dinner and watched the news. J then made a trip in D's car to get things from his apartment and bring them home. I headed to Planet Fitness for a bit. Home and settled in for the night.

20250716 - Up in the am and to the desk. D stopped by and dropped Hank off and got L's car for his baseball trip to MI this weekend. Finished the day and L&I headed to bingo, we had a nice crowd and Kelly won a jackpot. After bingo I got the karaoke machine fired up and everyone sang for a bit. Home and settled in for the night.

20250715 + Up in the am and to the desk. L went thrifting and picked up my prednisone for the poison ivy I acquired doing yard work Sunday... Busy day at the desk, G not working today so listed and shipped some things on ebay and ran to the post office. Finished up the day and had dinner with L watching the news and then headed to Planet Fitness for a bit. Home and watched some TV with L and headed to bed. J and two of his buddies showed up about midnight to get some camping supplies.

20250714 - Up in the am and to the desk. L got groceries and G and Jeremy headed up to the Farm. They helped GpaW with the tractor battery and then took GmaW to see the new Superman movie. Finished up my day and L&I headed to airport to pick up fer friend Steph. We took her to her car downtown and then L&I went to Myungrang Hotdogs for dinner. It was yummy and fun and we walked around a bit. Home and I ran to get a haircut and then G got home and told us of his day. I then ran to Bible Bangers to meet up with the guys and catch up. Home and hanging out with L watching Bachelor in Paradise.
