20261027 - Up in the AM and headed to the Worthington office for the day. Took L's car and the ladders back. Had a full day, got a lot done, headed home. Over to docs to make a list of things that needed to be done yet and then back home and started cleaning things up in the garage J and JGF7 made dinner for us. It was a birthday dinner: steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mushrooms. Perfect. Finished cleaning up the garage, then in and on the computer, organizing things that need to be done yet for docks and at the farm, and did some invoicing for work.

20261026 - I woke up when L got home, which means I didn't get all the things I wanted to get done this morning done. L made us some sandwiches while I packed things up in her car to take up to the Farm. We got on the road and got up to the Farm. Hazel went with us and when we got there she just ran and ran and ran and had the time of her life getting dirty. Jumping in the tank to clean off, she had a great day. Leonard & Gabe Dolce showed up and we looked at the wall that we want to cover and decided what the best course of action was. Leonard stayed with me and helped me get the wall down that was hanging towards the milkhouse and we got it down without touching the milkhouse at all. It was a miracle! I then got the chainsaw out and cut the posts free from the wall and dragged them out of the barn and then started taking the walls apart so we had boards to help stabilize the old barn. L&GmaW worked int he Farmhouse. Mike Woods showed up. It was nice to see him. We got caught up a little bit and then we headed into the farmhouse to have a birthday dinner from Chinatown. Poor GpaW made two trips to Chinatown as they only gave him half the order but it was a good meal and a great day!

20261025 - up in the AM and over to Docs. Bill Barney joined today along with Bill McLean, Scott Sampson, Steve Weiland, Adam Gilbert, and Jeff Kerbler. Gary Hugler and D, we finished up Doc's deck, got the roof on, and got all the trimmings cut and everything stabilized. We even got the chairlift installed and it works amazingly. We got all that done in just 2 days. Got home from our overnight with the girls. We had dinner and chit-chatted a bit and caught up. Now getting ready for a busy week coming up

20261024 - couldn't sleep. Up at 5:30 am, running plans for the deck through my head. Got up, got ready to go on a trip, and left. I headed out to the garage and started taking things over to Doc's house. Some people started showing up: Casey Jordan, Steve Weilend, John Clay, Bill McLean, Joe Plessner, D, J Scott & Colin Sampson, Ken Eichman, Brad Roser. We got to work on Doc's project, removed the old steps, cleaned up all the trash, started building a frame, got things leveled and squared up and everybody had little things to do. We made great progress. I never dreamed we'd make it that far. Started at 9 in the morning, finished about at dark, so about 7:00. John Clay bought lunch for everybody. It was a very very nice day. Got a lot done. L up the lake with her girlfriends

20261023 + Worked from home and a traveling tree company cut down a tree they thought was Doc's but it was Adam's, we was NOT happy! Not up too late getting ready for tomorrow.

20261022 - Up in the am and to the Worthington office for the day. They were going to have pizza to lunch but I vetoed that we ended going to Old Bag for lunch and more french onion soup, but that didn't work well for the training I usual do every month at lunch. Headed back tot he office and everyone upstairs yelling around. Each person had an incident report on their desk and they mouses had been stolen. Theft training complete! HAHAHA! Home and working on final plans for Doc's.

20261021 - Up in the am and the wood for Doc's deck showed up and the guy got most of it up and in to the backyard. Finished up my day and J helped me carry the long piece for the deck to Doc's backyard. I then headed to a Landscape Board meeting. After the meeting I met a small group of friends for Bing and I won $50!

20261020 + In to the Worthington office for the day. Chaff & I went to lunch at Old Bag and the rest of the guys went to a diner, I had to have my french onion soup! Finished the day and then headed to pick up auction wins and then to pic up some tarps for the Barn and then on to the storage unit to pick up some things that sold on ebay. Home shipped stuff and L&I put the notes her and GmaW took while walking through the farmhouse.

20261019 - Up in the am and picked Gary Hugler up and we headed to the Farm. I scaled the leaning wall of the pole barn and got a chain around a pole and we fastened it to the foundation of the old barn and got it stabilized. We headed in to the Farmhouse for lunch with Gma&paW. We then headed back out the parn where after much deliberation decided on the first cut. I climbed the wall again with a chainsaw and cut all the way down. I was sure the wall would fall after the cut, but nothing... Much deliberation and we made a second cut, again nothing. We then cut through the last remaining pole on the leaning wall and still nothing... so I got the tractor and we tied it to an 8x8 we thought for sure was holding everything up. Nope! Still standing. So I pulled on another post and finally the wall laid down, missing the milk house as we calculated. Enough climbing and cutting for one day and Gary and I headed home. Home, cleaned up, ran over to see Doc and then on to Bible Bangers.

20261018 + Up late and didn't do to much, only really need to wash a couple of the machines out and eat some ice cream with the neighbor kids. After that I cleaned out the ice cream and Riley helped me get it back in the garage and the other machines up on the shelf. Finished the day getting things ready to take up the Farm tomorrow.

20261017- Up early and had our list ready and got the chili cooking first and then went down the list and got everything up and running. Soon people started showing up and we ended up hosting 125 family and friends for a wonderful day of food, football and fun! It was a noon game and not too many folks stayed late so L&I got most of things cleaned up in short order. Well I was up cleaning and watching football until 4am.

20261016 - Took the day off to do final prep for the party tomorrow. L&I ran to Kroger and got the rest of the supplies and Burger King for an early dinner. Home, got things unpacked, all the decoration and machines set up. Not up too late knowing we had to get started early in the morning.

20261004 up and sorted clothes out of my closet. Jack and Ella here for lunch. Ella made a yummy lunch then headed out to start getting stuff done.

- Home, unloaded stuff, getting caught up on the back porch

20260831 - up in the AM, got a couple things done at the desk. Then Hazel and I, with her cone on, went to the vet. She weighs 63 lbs. and the vet said she has allergies. Gave her medicine for itching and antibiotics just to be safe. She should be just fine. We then stopped at a new auction place by the airport and the shipping place on the way home, where there was a lady arguing with the people because they didn't want to send her shipment to Eric Clapton. Stopped at the tax accountant on the way home to check in and see when taxes would be done. Home, Jack, home. Out on the back porch working. Beautiful day.

20260830 - Up in the AM, got the ribs in the smoker. Worked on the downspout drains a little bit. Lori went to breakfast or lunch with her girlfriends. When she got home we cut down the prickly bush that had been ripped down by the high winds a week or so ago. Ribs were done. Got them out and on the grill. Right as they were finishing up, D,DGF13 and Hank stopped by for a visit and dinner. In and used AI to help with auction searches this weekend, bed LATE.

20260829 - up in the AM and out running errands: Went to the shipper, an auction house, pet store to get a cone for Hazel and some medicine, Kroger to get some ribs, macaroni salad, and beer for dinner, and flowers for L. Home, got things unloaded and realized we had an event down at Creekside tonight so just put the ribs in the fridge for tomorrow. Did some work cleaning up the garage then L and I got ready and headed down to Hops and Vines Festival at Creekside. A lot of people there we know. Fun event, first time we've ever gone. Home and to bed late.

20260822 - Up in the am. L brought me an omelette in bed… up and Hazel and I headed out to the shipper, got gas, stopped at the car lot to see Ken, picked up auction wins and hit the pet store. Home and hung out on the back porch until it was time to go downtown to the Short North Stage and see Pippin. Wasn't my favorite but still entertaining.

20260821 - Up late and to the desk, getting things done for the day. L and I were out running errands and stopped at the Slurping Turtle for dinner.

20260820 + Up in the am and to the office, working on invoices most of the day. Had pot bellies for lunch with the team. Finished up the day, took the trash out, headed home. Sat on the back porch and watched the news with L and Hazel. In and down to the basement to watch Kiss of the Spider Woman, a total waste of time for two hours.
